I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to recommend it. That said, it worked pretty well for me during winter. Since I haven't been using it recently, I can't give it a full thumbs up. Even though it's a serum, it had a surprisingly rich, nourishing texture that felt great. I'd layer it with my basic skincare routine before heading to work, and it paired nicely with my cushion foundation without any issues. It's decent enough for the price. This primer works amazingly well! When I apply my makeup over it, my foundation stays put all day and doesn't lift or separate. Without using this first, my makeup slides right off the emulsion base - it's such a difference. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. The application is really smooth, and once I apply it, my skin feels so taut and plump that I get the impression my makeup will look flawless (though it's just an impression) I apply it in this order: essence, hydrating emulsion, hydrating serum, sunscreen, then foundation. To be honest, using this base or skipping it feels like it makes no difference at all. Right after I apply it, I think my makeup will look great, but once I put on my foundation, it just doesn't hold up and looks pretty disappointing. This is an absolute must-have product that creates a flawless base for your makeup! Since it's a hydrating foundation, moisture is guaranteed, and it's formulated with clean ingredients so I've been using it without any skin concerns. I have dry skin, so I didn't find any downsides, but I think those with oily skin might notice the product feeling a bit greasy or breaking down faster throughout the day.

I use this every single time I do my makeup. You can mix it in with your foundation or apply it beforehand and then layer your foundation on top - both ways work beautifully. I couldn't do my makeup without this for the longest time. After using it, I realized my base doesn't shift or separate anymore. The product amount is actually really generous, so it lasted me forever. It's been discontinued, which is such a shame. If you don't measure the amount carefully, your makeup can look heavy and cakey. I found it only works well when applying matte foundation.
