This shade is absolutely perfect for cool-toned winters with bright undertones. On the back of my hand, it looks more red, but once I apply it, it's actually closer to pink. The color is so vibrant that when you wear it, your face literally lights up like a lamp just switched on. It looked ordinary in the bottle, but the actual shade turned out to be anything but common, which I loved. Plus, the price point during the sale was fantastic. I think this is just how the formula works, so it's unavoidable, but since it's a fixing tint, it does feel a bit dry. This is my go-to lip base whenever I'm wearing a bold lip color! But honestly, it looks absolutely stunning on its own too~ Plus, it has amazing staying power. Even when I layer another lipstick on top and that fades away, this one keeps its color and stays put! The matte case is a bit of a hassle - I threw it in my makeup pouch and it ended up covered in glitter and shine everywhere. It doesn't fit quite right either, which is frustrating. If you blend this out and then layer a plumping lip gloss on top, it looks absolutely gorgeous! By the way, the swatches below show the color on my wrist - the left side is blended for a softer look, and the right side shows the full pigment payoff.

With minimal transfer and long-lasting hydrating matte lipstick formula, this is Etude's Fixing Tint Bar :) Etude's Fixing Tint Bar is basically the brand's famous Fixing Tint transformed into a lipstick format. Personally, I actually prefer this Fixing Tint Bar over the original Fixing Tint :) The Fixing Tint has a wet feel when you apply it, and as time passes, that moisture fades while the color sets on your lips. The Fixing Tint Bar, on the other hand, feels hydrating when you apply it, but since it's a lipstick, it goes on without that wet finish. I have 2 out of the 5 available shades - shade 02 #ClearBerry and shade 03 #MilkCaramel. ClearBerry is a cool red with a strong pink undertone, and the color shows up on your lips exactly as it appears in the tube. Shade 02 is the most recommended color for those with cool, bright winter undertones, and I'd also recommend it to anyone with good color saturation on their skin. The color is absolutely gorgeous. I'd totally recommend this for cool-toned skin, especially in winter! It glides on so smoothly in your hand. The shade looks lighter in photos, but it applies with more depth and richness on the lips. Other lip products I've tried for cool undertones tend to be really bold and intense, but this one has just the right amount of color payoff. It's not overwhelming for everyday wear at all! Perfect for daily use. I've been reaching for this product constantly lately! My lips tend to be on the dry side, so the application wasn't the smoothest. Once I exfoliate my lips and prep them with a lip balm first, then it applies beautifully and evenly. If you have flaky or textured lips, I'd skip this one. It doesn't apply as well to the inner lip area, so I use it as a base layer and pair it with a deeper lip shade or a more hydrating lip product for a prettier finish! When lips are dry, the application suffers, so you really need to keep up with regular lip exfoliation and care. But once your lips are smooth and prepped, it's amazing to use! Out of all the lip products I've bought recently, this is the one I reach for most often.

It's a beautiful pink tone with just a hint of purple peeking through! Hmm... the description said it was recommended for cool undertones, but it's really not a cool-toned shade. This is more suited for those with cool, muted undertones, so I was disappointed with how it actually performed. Plus, it emphasizes dry patches and texture more than I'd hoped, and the color payoff is quite weak. The formula itself feels dense and coated, making it difficult to achieve good color application. The packaging is really pretty though.
