I received a brush as part of a promotional event and have been using it. It's so convenient and gives me a natural, effortless shading effect. I don't really have any complaints. I did think it might be nice if it were a bit darker, but honestly, I think that would make it look unnatural. - li*****Da khôLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmKhô từ bên trongMẩn đỏ18/11/2025 (UTC+0)
The Etude Shadow Shading in #01 Recreate has a beautifully balanced formula that blends seamlessly, making it incredibly easy for beginners to apply shading without overdoing it. What really impressed me is how minimal the powder fallout is—your brush stays clean and your face doesn't end up messy. On the skin, it spreads smoothly without clumping, which is exactly what you want. As someone with dry skin, I usually struggle with powder products sitting unevenly, but this one has such strong adhesion that it settles beautifully even on my parched complexion. You can use it alone to softly define your face contours, and even layering it multiple times won't leave your skin feeling heavy or uncomfortable, so beginners can use it confidently without worrying about mistakes. I especially loved using shade #1 from the palette as a spot contour because it has less yellow undertone compared to the others, making it perfect when you want subtle shading without overwhelming warmth. If you already own this, focusing on shade #1 will give you natural-looking dimension across your entire face without that heavy warm tone. The yellow undertone is quite strong, so if you have a neutral or cool skin tone, your face might look a bit sallow. Even warm-toned skin can find it a touch too warm, which makes the overall color combination tricky to work with. When the shade doesn't match your undertone, the shading looks more like a yellow stain than a natural shadow, which really diminishes the contouring effect. While the color palette itself is nice, the base tone is pretty polarizing, so the product's versatility might be limited depending on your skin tone. If you've already purchased this, I'd recommend focusing on shade #1, which has the least yellow undertone. When applying with a brush, use a smaller, more flexible brush instead of a large fluffy one—it gives you much better color control. Rather than shading your entire face, try using it for spot contouring on areas like your nose bridge, inner eye area, and lower cheekbones. This way, the yellow tone won't be as noticeable. Applying it before powder rather than after actually improves adhesion and helps the color blend more evenly. I'd also recommend grabbing a nose brush from Daiso to help with application. - he*****Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất17/11/2025 (UTC+0)
I've been using this constantly and I'm really impressed! The shade is so versatile that it works beautifully with literally any tone. The color is surprisingly intense, so I end up using more of the lighter shades, but since the amount is the same for both, I feel like the darker shade will last much longer. - sw*******Da khôDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất15/11/2025 (UTC+0)
The color payoff is a bit subtle, but I actually love how natural it looks There's some powder fallout, but it's manageable It works even better when you use it together with a shading stick - sk****Da dầuDa mụnĐược đề xuất06/11/2025 (UTC+0)
• I have warm undertones, and this shade is absolutely perfect for warm-toned skin rather than cool-toned. • The naturally warm-leaning contour color doesn't make my face look heavy or dull—the shading blends in beautifully and softly. • I use the lighter shade on top for highlighting and nose contouring. • I use the deeper shade on the bottom for contouring my jawline and face perimeter! • The color doesn't apply too intensely all at once, and because the payoff is buildable and natural-looking, even beginners can use it without worrying about mistakes. • While the natural finish is great, if you want a deeper contour effect, you'll need to layer it multiple times. • When I want to add subtle, natural-looking dimension, I just lightly sweep the lighter shade across the areas I want to enhance. - on*******Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toMẩn đỏĐược đề xuất04/11/2025 (UTC+0)
First of all, the staying power is absolutely amazing! I was out all day going to school and then to cram school for about 10 hours straight without any touch-ups, and my foundation didn't budge at all on my chin or nose. The only downside is that the color payoff comes out a bit too sheer for my liking. If the pigmentation were just a little more intense, this would honestly be my holy grail product. If you have warm undertones like me, I'd actually recommend just going with the cool-toned version of this product instead. It tends to pull a bit too yellow on warmer skin tones. - es********Da thiếu nướcBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất30/10/2025 (UTC+0)
The color payoff is really impressive, and as long as you use a good brush, you'll get great results. I also love that it comes in two shades - it's clean and convenient. Honestly, there's nothing bad about it. This product is so user-friendly that even without much technique, you can get great results just by controlling the amount you use. - ch****Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất30/10/2025 (UTC+0)
I decided to try this product since it's so well-known, and I'm really happy with it! The color looks quite intense in the pan, but when I actually apply it, it blends beautifully and gives me a natural-looking shading effect that's just right. I was satisfied with both the amount of product and how well it applies, so there's honestly nothing I'm disappointed about. - mi********Da dầuDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtLỗ chân lông toTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất12/10/2025 (UTC+0)
Shade 23 is such a perfect match for my skin tone! I'm especially obsessed with the bottom shade - it's a total hit, so I'm definitely repurchasing. The brush is great too. There is some powder fallout, but when I tried Too Cool Classic while searching for a similar bottom shade, the fallout was way more noticeable and it had some clumping issues. That's why I came back to Etude. I don't see any real downsides. The magnetic case is honestly so convenient! If they sold the bottom shade separately, it would be perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. - ju***********Da thiếu nướcDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtLỗ chân lông toTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất07/10/2025 (UTC+0)
I think it's pretty good for daily use. The color payoff is subtle and sheer, which makes it perfect for beginners who want something easy to work with. It seems a bit too red on my nose, but it looks fine on my chin.
