I've been using this for blackheads and I love how well it draws out oil. Compared to my previous product, this one has a much smoother, more hydrating finish and melts into the skin beautifully. I don't really see any issues with the product itself. I absolutely loved the sorbet-like texture paired with that fresh mandarin peel scent! It melts beautifully into the skin and the rolling application is so smooth. After using it, my skin texture looks noticeably refined and polished! The fragrance is lovely. It glides on smoothly with a gentle rolling motion, and because it's a clean balm, it leaves my skin feeling nicely hydrated. My friend tried this and loved it so much that she gifted it to me! I feel confident using it because it contains coconut, and it cleanses my skin gently without any irritation. My skin feels noticeably firmer and more lifted after using it. I'm definitely planning to repurchase this product. Dry and sensitive skin here. When dispensing the product, I'd recommend being generous with the amount rather than using just a little. If you use too little, even after warming it up with your body heat, it won't be enough. The balm won't glide smoothly across your face and the application becomes choppy. It's better to use a generous amount from the start. This cleansing balm removes foundation, eyeshadow (shimmer, pearl, matte), eyeliner, eyebrow product, and lipstick all in one go. However, since I wear a mask regularly, I didn't feel the need to boost makeup longevity, so I skipped using mascara primer, primer, and setting spray during my makeup routine. Because of this, I wasn't able to fully test the moisturizing benefits of the balm when used with these products. I'll add more details later. Case: The case has a double-lid structure with a spatula for scooping and an inner lid to store it. The case isn't inconvenient, but the balm does leave residue on the spatula, so when I open the lid the next day to remove makeup, the sticky residue sticks to the screw-top lid. However, this easily comes off with a light wipe, so I didn't consider it a drawback. Actually, I appreciated having an extra inner lid to store the spatula. Breakouts: I haven't experienced any breakouts or redness so far. There was slight dryness after cleansing, but it was less noticeable compared to other cleansing products. No eye irritation at all. Important note: I used a waterproof mascara (Clio with the red cap), which is super waterproof by nature, so it doesn't come off easily. I only tested the balm without using a separate mascara remover first. The balm does remove it, but the results are inconsistent. Some days it removes makeup cleanly, but other days when I wipe my eye area (after dampening my hand), the mascara and eyeliner smudge and don't come off well. Considering this, I'd personally recommend using a dedicated mascara remover first, then following up with the balm. Important note: The scent is very polarizing. I've tried products with natural and botanical scents before and thought they were tolerable, but this coconut cleansing balm has a much stronger scent than those. It has a very pronounced natural fragrance without any chemical smell. Since this is my first time using a coconut product, I'm not sure if coconut always smells this strong, but the scent made it challenging to massage the balm across my face. It's really gentle on the skin. I love that it has barely any scent, so it won't overwhelm you. It works wonderfully for dissolving whiteheads. After cleansing, my skin feels hydrated without any tightness, and it removes all my makeup beautifully. I'm really satisfied with how thoroughly it cleanses without leaving any residue behind. But honestly, this style has its own charm and I've grown to love it! I tried it with my sister, and there's plenty of product to go around. It removes makeup really well. I gently rubbed it for about 3 minutes and then rinsed with water! It's incredibly lightweight. Physically light too, so I used it great when traveling. The product itself feels wonderfully easy to remove and doesn't leave residue. It came with a built-in spoon, which was surprisingly amazing! You don't have to scrape the product with your fingernails like you do with other balm-type products. The scent is pretty standard, but people with sensitive skin might have mixed feelings about it. I use mascara frequently, so I recommend using a dedicated lip and eye makeup remover for mascara, and only use this product for removing other makeup. I always play a video or song while cleansing for about 3 minutes to make it more enjoyable. This product does clean well, but since I'm not always thorough with every spot, I follow up with a cleansing foam afterward to make sure I get everything.
