I picked up Marigold Peach because it's such a popular product, and honestly, popular items earn their reputation for a reason. It might be a bit too shimmery for everyday wear, but that glossy, vaseline-like finish is absolutely gorgeous and so smooth. It's been two years since this product caused such a frenzy, and it's still constantly sold out. It seems like only people in the know keep buying it, and I'm definitely planning to repurchase. You absolutely have to get this. My only minor complaint is that the particles are quite large, so I'd give it four stars instead of five. If you love a more dramatic, sparkly look, though, this will be absolutely perfect for you. There is some powder fallout, and because the particles are quite large, it doesn't really create that youthful under-eye effect the way I expected. It's more like applying a shimmery glitter base and then using a small brush to dab on highlights here and there. Honestly, it was pretty disappointing compared to what I was hoping for. If you apply a thin layer of cream, lip balm, or Vaseline to your brush first and then dip it into the glitter, the sparkles will stay in place instead of moving around—it works really well. Using an eye primer also works great for this.
