I apply this generously before bed and while studying, and I have to say the results are impressive. It's not an instant dramatic transformation, but after using it for a couple of days, I notice my lip flakes just seem to vanish. The scent is lovely too, and overall it's a really solid product. The pot format is a bit inconvenient to apply, and if I skip using it for even a short while, my lips start feeling dry again. I've been using this for about a week now, and I'm really impressed with how well it exfoliates my lips. If you're struggling with dry, flaky lips, I think you'd be absolutely thrilled with this product. It contains shea butter, coconut oil, and murumuru seed butter that work together to protect and nourish your lips while locking in moisture. The hydration is fantastic, making it perfect for winter use. Plus, it has a lovely grapefruit scent and comes in a generous amount. The main drawback is that it's pricier than your typical lip balms, so while the results are worth it, it might feel like a splurge. If you're sensitive to fragrance, I'd skip this one—the grapefruit scent is subtle, but my friend found it too strong for her sensitive nose. Also, the formula is quite thick and rich, which can feel a bit heavy on the lips when you first apply it. Apply it before bed, and you'll wake up with all the flakiness gone and incredibly soft, hydrated lips in the morning.

1. Weightless yet deeply hydrating > This lip product delivers such a clingy, moisturizing feel that even after blotting with a tissue, your lips stay plump and dewy. The hydration truly adheres to your lips. 2. Fragrance > I'm most drawn to the grapefruit scent, though it feels more like a blend of red orange with grapefruit rather than fresh grapefruit itself, which makes it less off-putting. Personally, I tend to feel queasy from overly sweet fragrances or artificial vanilla notes, so I really appreciate how natural and subtle this grapefruit scent is. (The berry option, on the other hand, had this mysterious bitter aftertaste that felt more sour than sweet...) 3. Lip texture improvement > I occasionally deal with chapped lips and sensitive skin, plus I have an allergic reaction where my lips swell up if soy sauce touches them. After these allergic and inflammatory reactions, my lip cells get damaged and fine lines tend to deepen. Whenever that happens, I apply this product generously before bed, and I wake up with noticeably smoother lips. (Though I'll admit some of that is temporary plumping.) Even after applying tint throughout the day, I notice my lip lines appear less pronounced than usual. However, I don't recommend applying this when you have active inflammation! I don't recommend using this product if you have active lip inflammation like chapped lips, as it can feel stinging and itchy. If your inflammation is severe, ask your pharmacist for product recommendations! The scent is absolutely divine, and this product is perfectly formulated for lip hydration! I'll admit I hesitated at first because of the price, but once I started using it, all those doubts completely melted away. There's really nothing to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say it can feel a bit sticky sometimes. Honestly though, that's the only minor thing I can find—otherwise it's a flawless product. My go-to routine is applying a generous amount before bed, and then in the morning while I'm washing up, I gently rub my lips and all the dead skin just sloughs right off. The applicator tip makes it so easy to apply, and since it's not overly sticky, it works perfectly as a sleeping lip mask. The scent is pleasant too! Since my lips aren't particularly dry, I haven't noticed dramatic results or felt the need to use it consistently. It comes in a stick form with a silicone applicator tip that you spread and apply to your lips, but the application method is pretty inconvenient. It's marketed as a nighttime lip mask, but the fact that it contains color and fragrance was a real turnoff for me. The awkward application method and the lingering scent are frustrating. My lips are naturally very dry, and even during summer I get flaky lips without a lip balm. This is honestly the most moisturizing one I've ever tried! I apply it before bed at night, but I also dab a little on throughout the day. Once I put on my lip color, my lips stay hydrated and comfortable all day long. This is absolutely my holy grail product!! I haven't found any downsides yet! I chose this because the scent is less sweet than strawberry and feels more natural, and I'm really satisfied with it. I apply it generously to my lips and let it sit while I go about my day, then when I wipe it off, all the flakiness just melts away and my lips feel so comfortable. When I wear a tint that dries out my lips, keeping this on top makes my lips feel nourished and happy, almost like I have that glossy lip look I used to have. The spatula disappears way too easily. Even though there's a spatula holder included, when you just place it on top like a candle on the cake version, it's awkward to carry around. I think it would be so much better if you could just tuck it inside the lid instead. If you're not seeing results, try using a more generous amount! If you apply it sparingly like a regular lip balm, it'll keep your lips moisturized, but you won't get that special exfoliating effect this product is known for.
