I read reviews on the online beauty retailer about various drawbacks, but since my usual product was out of stock and this one was on sale, I decided to give it a try. I was so impressed that I requested to write a review. I've been getting gel manicures consistently for years without a break, but during the pandemic, I wasn't able to get a proper removal at the salon, so my nails became severely damaged. Since things were already in that state, I thought I'd try some at-home care, so I've been testing this product and others. This one actually works well for my nails, which have pretty significant damage. The tricky part is controlling the amount, but being able to apply generously is actually a benefit. Even after applying it liberally, the most damaged nails in the before photo still look quite compromised right after application, but they look somewhat acceptable. After using it consistently, most of my other nails reached the condition shown in the final photo without even needing the treatment.
When you squeeze it, the product suddenly shoots out everywhere. Especially when there's not much left in the tube. That's why I repurchased my original product, which has a click mechanism that prevents the contents from getting all over the pen. I haven't been willing to repurchase this one though, even though that other one seems to have less product.
At first, since so much product comes out, if you have severely damaged nails, you could get some on your fingertips and still apply it to your nails. After that, I washed my hands and applied it to my nails with a brush, which made me feel less concerned about hygiene.
