This product has absolutely no benefits for me, and I'm really disappointed with it. It feels incredibly dry and flaky. Because it sets so quickly, even when I carefully blend my lip liner, the lipstick or tint doesn't blend naturally with it. First, I have naturally full lips with brownish and purplish undertones along my lip line. Since my lips are already quite full, I actually need to use a lip liner to define and minimize rather than overline. Shade 2 Salmon Mood is a light, luminous salmon color blended with apricot tones. This shade is absolutely amazing at covering darker lip lines with brown and gray-purple undertones. Plus, since it neutralizes the purple tones on the lip line, it's really optimized for defining and refining the lip shape rather than creating the illusion of fuller lips. I genuinely recommend this to anyone with similar lip characteristics as mine. This is already my repeat purchase! The formula is both a strength and a weakness. It's quite matte and has impressive staying power. How smoothly it applies really depends on your lip condition. If your lips have a bit of natural moisture, it glides on beautifully, but the color payoff from the pencil decreases. If you've applied too much lip balm and your lips are overly hydrated, it'll skip and won't apply evenly at all. On the other hand, if your lips are completely dry, it applies with a slightly stiff texture and sets firmly on the lips, which makes blending difficult because it adheres so intensely. The upside is that the wear time is exceptional. The key is really understanding the formula through repeated use. If you want a lip pencil that works effortlessly without any fuss, I wouldn't recommend this one. Also, the contour pencil on the other end of the product breaks quite easily, though the shade itself is beautifully formulated for adding dimension and shading. The coral shade is absolutely gorgeous, and the staying power is fantastic. I'm really impressed with how well it sets! The quick-setting formula is actually a drawback for me. It dries so fast that it's difficult to make any corrections or adjustments once applied.

It doesn't create a super dramatic transformation, but honestly, I think that's a strength too. There's no weird, overdone look! - While it claims to have great staying power, the reality is that your lips are constantly in action—eating, wiping with tissues, reapplying. Once you're out and about doing your thing, it eventually fades away. But that's just the nature of lip products, so it's kind of unavoidable. - I'd suggest thinking of this more as a way to add dimension and highlight to your lips rather than as a lip liner for extending your lip line. I really appreciate that this set comes with both a lip pencil and a matching shadow shade I'm not sure if it's because I haven't quite mastered the technique yet, but the lip pencil shade is basically the same as my skin tone. When I apply it around my lips, it makes my skin look extended rather than my lips, which is a bit awkward for me. I'm a fair shade 21, so that might be why
