I absolutely hate this product, and I'm shocked to see it getting nothing but glowing reviews everywhere. Honestly, I'm using it while cringing the entire time. The price isn't even affordable, and the quality is absolutely terrible. It honestly feels like someone just bundled together a bunch of cheap colored pencils that kids use. Seriously, it's basically like dragging a colored pencil across your lips. It's not even good for touch-ups or corrections, and when you try to use it for overlining, it just flakes off completely. There's zero control with this thing. I'm genuinely suspicious of the brand's planning team for even calling this a lip pencil. It's hands down one of the worst products I've ever tried. I'd honestly rather donate the money I spent on this than buy it again. The color just sits on top and doesn't blend. Even if the shade is technically correct, it still just sits there unevenly. I've bought over ten of these lip pencils, and this is honestly the worst one I've ever used. No tips here. I bought this lip pencil after watching a YouTuber's tutorial on overlining, and I'm so happy with it! It makes creating an overlined lip look super easy and convenient. Plus, there's a built-in shade on the back for blending, which is such a great bonus! The color is perfect for cool undertones and matches my skin beautifully, but it has a bit of a strawberry milk vibe that requires me to layer it with another lipstick. My upper lip tends to get patchy with application, which is disappointing. I used it together with a tint, and even though I'm not sure if it's because I applied the lip pencil on the lip line, the tint faded but the lip pencil stayed put! I have to admit the staying power is impressive. Most lip pencils on the market are way too dark and intense for me, but this shade 3 gives such a subtle definition to my lip line that it looks totally natural. The shading tip on the back is surprisingly perfect for touching up my eyes and other small details. I wish the application was a bit smoother. The lip plumping effect doesn't seem that noticeable.
