I honestly couldn't believe it was a mineral formula. It's not overly dewy or greasy, and unlike other zinc oxide mineral sunscreens, it doesn't feel dry or cause flaking. It has that perfect balance - refreshingly hydrated, almost like a modern hydrating cream. The brightening effect seems to cleverly use zinc oxide's natural white cast as a feature. After about 5 minutes of application, it looks completely natural. Because it spreads so smoothly, there's no streaking at all - just a clean, even finish. The formula is also gentle on skin, so I'm definitely planning to keep using this going forward! Highly recommended for anyone with delicate, sensitive skin, those with fair complexions, or anyone who takes UV protection seriously! Since my skin is already fair, the brightening effect made my complexion look about one shade lighter, which felt a bit much. For skin tones in the 21-23 range, this might look significantly brighter. You'd probably need to apply it in very small amounts and tap it in carefully.
