The cooling sensation isn't particularly intense, and it has a refreshing mint scent. The formula is quite concentrated, so it needs plenty of water to dissolve quickly and effectively. Sometimes I find it a bit too thick for my preference. That said, the cleansing power is really impressive. I especially recommend this to anyone with an oily scalp. 1. The cleansing power is fantastic! My scalp tends to get oily year-round, so I usually deal with excess oil buildup. This shampoo really delivers on deep cleansing, and I've noticed a significant reduction in that greasy feeling. I used it before the reformulation and tried it again recently—the cleansing performance is still just as strong. 2. While the cooling effect isn't super intense, it's definitely noticeably more refreshing compared to other shampoos I've tried. Honestly, when I use regular shampoos without that cooling element, my hair doesn't feel fresh even right after washing. But with this cooling shampoo, the refreshed sensation you get right after washing is on a completely different level. It seems like the shampoo I was using got discontinued and came back with a new formula. The scent is the only thing I'm not as happy about—I preferred the fragrance of the previous version.
