It has a strong herbal scent, and while it's a typical herbal shampoo formula, I was surprised that it doesn't lather as much as expected. What's amazing is that after washing, my hair feels incredibly soft and smooth, not stiff at all! The hair loss prevention effect isn't outstanding, but when I touch my roots, they feel about 10% stronger and more resilient than usual. That's a nice bonus! Honestly, considering the price point, I'd want to give it a 4.5 rating. But since this brand is so accessible and easy to find nearby, I think it deserves a solid 5 stars. Definitely worth trying! The price is... I understand it given how well it performs, but here's the thing: aside from the cost, this product is genuinely excellent. I've been using this Yak Ryung Won shampoo for several years now, and I'm really happy with it. It doesn't create too much lather, which I appreciate, and the quality is excellent for the price. I've heard it's a favorite among women in their 40s and 50s, and the Amorepacific store managers apparently stock up on it during sales because it sells so well. I noticed it helped with the fine hairs and frizz around my hairline and scalp. I'm a mom in my early 50s who's had three children, and I was dealing with significant hair loss. When early fall sales came around, I grabbed four bottles right away. The price is quite steep, and the brand doesn't offer sales very often. On top of that, there are six questionable ingredients in the formula that concern me. I really hope the company will address this issue.
