I have combination skin that tends toward dryness, and I did experience some dryness and patchiness when my makeup broke down. However, when I properly prepped my skin with a solid skincare routine and applied a good setting spray, the foundation didn't look dirty or problematic. What really impressed me is that despite the matte name, it didn't create heavy, obvious patches. If it had been just a bit less drying, this would have been a cushion I'd absolutely love using. The dryness just didn't work for my skin, and while the breakdown wasn't noticeably messy, it wasn't ideal either. As time went on and oils started mixing in, the finish looked nice on some skin types but not on others. For me, it never quite achieved that polished, flawless skin feeling I was hoping for. Keep in mind that this cushion lives up to its matte name, so it does lean toward a matte finish. This makeup stays put beautifully and won't budge even in the rain! If you have combination skin like me, you absolutely have to try this. It's seriously fantastic! If you're shade 21, this might come across as too pale on your skin. I was amazed when I first used this product - my skin looked absolutely radiant and beautiful! There was barely any darkening, and I'm planning to make this cushion my go-to foundation from now on. Since it's winter, I'm planning to try the layered coverage approach. I picked this up because the base shade is so light, and I have to say the coverage, adherence, and color depth are all fantastic The case isn't very attractive and it scratches really easily, which is disappointing. The puff also leaves something to be desired Make sure to use powder
