I have sensitive skin with some small bumps appearing, and my skin barrier felt compromised. I discovered this product through Instagram's algorithm and was impressed by the confident ingredient list, so I went ahead and purchased the entire line - toner, emulsion, serum, and cream. Following the toner, this emulsion seemed equally promising for addressing bumps and dryness. The formula feels like any standard emulsion on the market - gentle and providing about 60% hydration. However, when I used it alone, my very dry skin didn't get enough moisture. It's simply a mild, gentle emulsion. After the toner, I didn't notice any calming effects from this emulsion either. Since my skin is compromised and I'm dealing with small bumps, I had high hopes when I started using it. It absorbs quickly without any sticky residue, leaving your skin feeling light and comfortable. I can't really think of any downsides so far. My only complaint is that it's a bit inconvenient having to flip it over to use it.

But adding this emulsion right after my toner made all the difference! It keeps my skin feeling hydrated throughout the day. Plus, the subtle lavender scent from the brand is so lovely and uplifting when I apply it. Honestly, I can't find a single downside! I've really tried to think of something to critique, but there's just nothing to complain about. Apply a thin layer after your toner and it absorbs beautifully without any sticky feeling.

The moisturizing power isn't super intense, so I finish with a cream afterward. It's a solid basic product with nothing to complain about! I'd recommend this emulsion as a staple for those with normal, oily, or sensitive skin. During summer, you could probably skip the cream and just use this on its own. If you have dry skin, you might find the hydration level disappointing. You'll need to apply it multiple times or layer a cream on top.
