The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous. As it fades, it shifts to a lovely pink tone. The staying power is actually pretty impressive. Because it has a water-based formula, it can feel a bit drying on the lips. The fact that it doesn't smudge easily is honestly the best thing about it! I reach for this whenever I'm heading to the pool. The color payoff is absolutely stunning. This is perfect for anyone who hates the transfer and smudging of traditional lipstick or finds lip gloss too sticky and tacky. Since it's a water tint, it doesn't adhere as well to the upper lip, which is a bit of a drawback. That said, the formula is so good that it more than makes up for it. Apply it generously, let it dry completely, then gently dab with a tissue. Follow up with a bit of lip balm and your lips feel incredibly soft and hydrated.

It truly lives up to its reputation - the color payoff is fantastic. I'll admit my lips tend to get a bit wet from saliva, so it fades pretty quickly on me, but when I tested it on my arm, it lasted all the way until the next day without budging. That's seriously impressive. I struggle with getting the application amount just right, and because of that, I end up with this bright red color getting stuck between my teeth, making it look like my gums are bleeding. Ha! The key is to be careful with how much product you use and gently blot with a tissue afterward. If you skip this step, you'll end up with that awkward bleeding gum look.
