Received as a gift Will I repurchase: No. The cleansing is a bit light for oily skin. What I love ① The scent is absolutely incredible. If you're a fan of Santa Maria Novella Freesia fragrance, you need to try this. The scent is softer and more delicate than a typical perfume. It fades quickly, which is a shame, but it makes me feel amazing throughout my shower, and even after it seems to disappear, the lingering fragrance stays on my skin. ② Gentle, delicate lather with a hydrating moisture barrier. It's exactly as described on the website. The lather is soft and refined, and it leaves skin feeling moisturized. If you have dry skin and find that body washes leave you feeling parched even while using them, this could be a great solution for you. ③ No irritation or breakouts for me. ① It doesn't seem to effectively remove the oil from my oily skin. I expect a body wash to feel like it's thoroughly cleansing away excess oil, but this one doesn't quite deliver that. Because of this, I think it would be better suited for people with dry skin. ② The glass container is heavy and requires careful handling to avoid breakage. I appreciate that it's an eco-conscious choice, but I have to be cautious about it slipping from my hands and breaking, and I need to transfer it to a smaller bottle if I want to travel with it. ③ While the fragrance is a personal choice, there are 4 potential allergens in the ingredient list. Something to be aware of. I like to do a quick cleanse with a lighter body wash first, then use this one for a second wash. It doubles the scent and lather experience. If you use a body wash and fragrance from the same scent family, the fragrance lasts much longer on your skin.
