After going through Heart Percent and Color Gram lip liners, I picked this up from Daiso once, and honestly, it's a steal. It's so affordable but performs way better than you'd expect. As you can see in the photos, it completely covers those dark areas. The texture isn't mushy, and it doesn't smudge easily, which I really love. The staying power is fantastic too—I only need to apply it once when I do my makeup in the morning. Even though it has a cool undertone, I personally prefer to use a warm-toned lip base underneath, and it works beautifully. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to conceal dark pigmentation that's darker than their natural skin tone. Seriously, give it a try! I'm not sure if it's just luck of the draw, but my first purchase wasn't like this, while the second one I bought feels a bit stiff and clumpy when I apply it. Five stars! This lip pencil has amazing staying power, which is honestly the most important thing to me, and it applies with such beautiful color payoff. The formula sets perfectly and doesn't smudge or feather at all. I love that it comes in a saturated shade that's so flattering, and if you're trying to cover deeper lip tones, you'll definitely want to go for a cool-toned or coral option. Plus, it's so compact and portable, and the price point is absolutely unbeatable. This is definitely becoming my holy grail product! It can feel a bit dry, but honestly, I don't need a super blendable formula. What matters most to me is that it delivers excellent color coverage and long-lasting wear, and this totally delivers on both fronts. After testing about a dozen lip pencils, I finally found the perfect one! This warm-toned lip pencil glides on smoothly and is so easy to use. My friend saw me wearing it and immediately asked where I got it. It's absolutely ideal for creating that gorgeous gradient lip look! I actually lost mine on the bus today, but I loved it so much that I bought a replacement the second I got off. Totally worth it! The price, size, performance, and color are all absolutely flawless.

These days, to create an overdrawn lip effect, I mainly used products from Olive Young and The Saem. But I'm absolutely thrilled that Daiso has released such an affordable and fantastic product! I picked up the salmon shade as a base, and honestly, the quality for the price is incredible! The color payoff isn't very intense! I think that's because the salmon shade I chose is a lighter tone, so that could be why! If you want to cover up a blurred lip line or create an overdrawn lip look, just draw your lip liner in a natural shade and your lips will look so much more beautiful!
