I personally don't love fragrance-free products and prefer ones with a subtle scent, so I really appreciated that this product has a gentle, not-too-strong fragrance. When I use it together with other oils, it works wonderfully on my baby's dry, textured skin and really smooths everything out! I honestly haven't found any downsides yet! The only thing is that because I apply it generously, it does get used up pretty quickly. If your baby's skin is very dry, applying the cream first and then layering an oil on top works great. If you want to avoid that heavy, thick feeling but still need hydration, try the emulsion followed by a light layer of oil. I absolutely love this! My skin was acting up for no apparent reason, but after using this product, everything settled down. I've never really paid much attention to skincare before, so I had no idea what was causing the problem. I ended up borrowing my friend's son's product and saw such great results that I decided to get my own. Highly recommend! I'm not sure about this one... The scent is a bit polarizing, honestly. It has kind of a medicinal smell to it that might not be for everyone.

Formulation, spreadability, and absorption The formula is a lightweight emulsion-type cream that doesn't feel heavy! While most creams apply thickly, this one spreads with a watery, fluid texture. The absorption isn't the fastest, possibly due to slightly larger particles. After full absorption, there's minimal stickiness left behind. Ingredients, price, and scent The ingredients are rated green-grade with 71% rice extract, so I didn't experience any irritation when applying it. The site frequently runs promotions, so I was able to purchase it at a great price. As for the scent, it's not fragrance-free. Since I'm a bit sensitive to scents, this was tricky to describe. At first, it smells like a typical cream fragrance, but as you massage and absorb it, it develops a slightly masculine skincare scent mixed with a fresh, herbal note. It's more hydrating than I expected. I thought it would be super moisturizing and feel heavy with oils, but it's actually really refreshing and hydrating. It doesn't create that thick, coated feeling - instead it has a clean, light finish. And the best part is it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. I'm planning to use it more and share an update soon. Since it's winter and my kids have been using Bioderma Ultra Emulsion, their lips and cheeks were getting a bit irritated. I switched to this product for them and it's working great. No downsides so far, but I'll let you know if I notice anything. The texture is a bit thin, so you need to press the pump a few times to get enough product.
