I have combination skin that's sensitive with redness, so whenever a product doesn't work for me, my cheeks get red and breakouts happen easily. What I love about Doctor Olga's Firming Ampoule is that it doesn't cause any breakouts, and since I always check ingredients carefully when buying skincare, I was really happy to see there are no harmful ingredients. The texture is slightly thin, but it has enough viscosity that when I apply it directly with the dropper, it doesn't run down my skin and goes on smoothly. I tested it by dropping a bit on the back of my hand and spreading it around, and it covered everything evenly, felt soft, and left my skin feeling hydrated. There's barely any stickiness, it adheres really well to my skin, and the absorption is fantastic. After applying it, my skin looks smoother and has a nice glow. Even after some time passes, my skin stays moisturized. I didn't find any downsides while using it, but the price is a bit steep, so I think I'll need to wait for a sale to buy it. I've definitely noticed that as I get older year after year, I pay much more attention to maintaining skin firmness and elasticity. Everyone knows that retinol is great for this, but honestly, it can be quite irritating, so as someone with sensitive skin, I've always been hesitant to use it. The main ingredient in this ampoule is bakuchiol, which delivers similar benefits to retinol but with a gentler touch, making it suitable even for reactive skin types. Plus, you can apply it during the day without worry, so I decided to give it a try. The ampoule has a rich, creamy milk-like texture that feels luxurious, applies smoothly, and absorbs beautifully into the skin. Bakuchiol is known to be milder and safer than retinol, but the trade-off is that results appear more gradually, so consistent use is key. My skin barrier has been compromised lately with some redness and sensitivity, so I'm really happy with this gentle, non-irritating ampoule and I'm using it regularly. No breakouts or irritation at all. If I had to nitpick, it would be that the ampoule doesn't always come out easily through the dropper. But once you get the hang of it, it's really not an issue at all. Sometimes when I layer it with the toner I mentioned earlier, I notice the product can ball up or pill a bit. When that happens, skip the water rinse and try applying a hydrating toner first! I love the creamy, rich texture of this formula. When I apply it to my face and gently pat it in, it absorbs so quickly. After it sinks in, there's no sticky residue left behind, just a fresh, clean feeling. My skin is quite sensitive, but I'm really impressed with Doctor Olga's ingredient quality. This product is definitely a winner. I know Doctor Olga's ingredient formula is excellent, but I wish the price was a bit more affordable. Alternatively, I'd be thrilled if they could increase the product size or amount. I purchased the firming ampoule as a set with the dark spot ampoule and have been using it regularly. Even during the dry seasons of fall and winter, my skin never felt parched or tight. There's really nothing to complain about. The firming ampoule does have a subtle waxy scent that's a bit hard to identify, but I suspect it's just the natural aroma of the ingredients themselves. Since it's from Doctor Organi with such quality ingredients, I use it with confidence. If you layer the dark spot ampoule and firming ampoule twice each, even dry skin won't need a separate hydrating ampoule.
