I tested the color payoff on my wrist using the same amount I'd apply to my cheeks. The delicate gold shimmer is so beautiful, and this blush has such a gorgeous peachy, fresh glow to it! It's truly lovely. With the brush, two taps give you plenty of product, and one tap gives you a lighter application. Getting the right amount takes some practice! I've been applying it with my fingers instead. Since the formula is quite fluid and dewy, as long as you don't rub it aggressively, your base won't get disturbed. The scent is nice too! The brush tip applicator feels amazing when you apply it, and the color payoff is seriously intense. You only need a tiny amount, which means this product lasts forever—I absolutely love that! Honestly, if you ignore the glitter, the base does flake a bit, which I can live with. But the glitter is way too harsh for me. That said, base flaking happens with every dewy blush out there, no matter how expensive, so you kind of have to accept it. This one does flake more than others though, so what I do is apply it and then tap my cushion over any flaky spots to blend it out. That way it looks perfect and I'm happy with it!
