I used to bite my nails, and while I've broken that habit, my nails are really challenging to grow. They split in layers, develop ridges, and flare out at the sides, so even when I manage to grow them out, they don't look pretty and tear easily. I wasn't planning to visit a nail salon, so I decided to try this nail strengthener to see if I could finally grow healthy nails. Application: When I apply just one coat, the color is quite sheer and barely shows. If I'm not careful with how much product I use, I might see brush marks. But since the shade is so light, one more thin layer on top makes those marks disappear! After three coats, I get this beautiful translucent strawberry milk color, though honestly, that's not really my style. Drying time: This dries super fast. By the time I finish painting one hand and move to the other, the first hand is already dry to the touch. It's impressively quick. Wear time: The color stays put really well. I wash my hands frequently throughout the day, and this lasts 3-4 days before the tips start to chip. I usually touch it up every couple of days, and the instructions say to take a break and reapply every two weeks, but I found myself reapplying after about a week. My nails tend to flare out immediately after I remove polish, so I like to keep them coated. Strength and durability: I'm not sure how to describe this exactly, but my nails definitely break less when I'm wearing this. The layered splitting at the tips has stopped, and my nails aren't flaring out as much anymore. They're actually staying together better! I'm really happy with how this is helping me grow stronger nails. My hands look so much better now, and I'm genuinely satisfied. When I apply multiple coats, the color tone isn't really my preference. If you have deeper skin, the nails might stand out too much against your skin tone.

The brush itself feels really nice to use, and I loved how quickly it dries compared to other products. For a drugstore price, especially when it's on sale, this is definitely a solid choice. Plus, it applies so smoothly and thinly, which I'm really happy about. Because of how the formula is formulated, it tends to leave a white cast, so even when I applied two coats, I could still see brush marks. I ended up needing to do about three coats to get even coverage. The next day, I noticed some flaking and peeling at my fingertips. The color turned out beautifully luxurious and rich, and the thin application is definitely a major plus! If you apply a good base coat and top coat, you can really make it last longer.
