But recently, I started noticing age spots and became so concerned that I began using specialized products. I thought, "I really need to start wearing foundation now," so I did tons of research, read countless reviews, and ended up choosing this cushion! Heart Formula & Application Formula: It has a thick, dense concealer-like texture. This cushion is serious about coverage! Application: When I dab it on with the puff, it adheres smoothly to my skin in a thin layer with great adherence. Sparkle Thoughtful detail! This cushion can be applied thickly, but there's a blending palette space on the inside of the cap cover, which was incredibly useful! I can adjust or remove the amount of product I picked up with the puff right there, so it's a thoughtful detail that prevents me from applying too much! Heart Color selection criteria My biggest concern was covering age spots. I didn't think using a lighter shade would be very effective at hiding them. So I chose "Shell Beige," which is slightly deeper than what most Korean skin tones typically wear. My choice was right! Age spots are definitely darker than regular skin, and to cover them, I realized that my usual shades 21 or 23 would be a bit insufficient. If covering age spots and blemishes is your main goal, I strongly recommend choosing a shade that's slightly more muted or deeper than your usual tone! 100 Coverage & Longevity, honestly speaking! Coverage: The coverage is genuinely impressive! It completely hides redness and fine blemishes. The pore coverage is amazing, making my skin look smooth and blurred! Longevity: The staying power was excellent too. The matte finish lasts a long time without any oiliness, so I barely needed to touch up my makeup. On oily skin or with heavy base products, it can shift if you're using it mainly for coverage! Other than that, there really aren't any downsides! Heart Too much base product can cause it to shift. If you manage the amount well by using the palette inside the cap, you can use it perfectly! And if you use both a deeper shade and a lighter shade together, you can achieve even more flawless skin coverage. This is the most hydrating cushion I've ever tried, and the coverage is fantastic with impressive staying power. The formula alone deserves five stars. I didn't get a chance to test the shade beforehand, and shade 22 turned out to be more orange-toned than expected, so I've been using it as a blush instead. I'm deducting a star because of the color mismatch. Shade selection really comes down to personal preference, but I'd recommend sticking with one shade. This cushion delivers a flawless matte yet moisturized finish that lasts a full 12 hours without needing touch-ups. What I love about it I wore this cushion for 12 hours straight during my commute and workday without a single touch-up. Even though the finish looks powdery, I have extremely dry skin and usually can't use products like this. But this one doesn't kick up powder and has incredible staying power, giving me that perfect matte yet moisturized look that feels lightweight and effortless. Since I have dry skin, my complexion actually looked better as the day went on rather than right after application. My skin stayed looking fresh and dewy throughout the entire day. The design I felt this way when I visited the brand's pop-up store too, but the design is absolutely stunning. The orange glossy finish is gorgeous, and the cushion is larger than my palm. The mirror is nice and big, making it easy to see, and I honestly want to show off how shiny and beautiful it is to everyone. The shade I usually blend between shades 22 and 23, and when I first swatched it, I thought it looked too dark. But when I blend it out thinly, it's actually my perfect match. Compared to another brand's shade 23 (shown at the bottom), this one is darker, but it blends seamlessly into my skin. Don't be alarmed by how it looks on your wrist—apply it thinly to your face and you'll get a natural, semi-matte finish that's absolutely gorgeous. The formula and application This is the most foundation-like cushion I've ever used. The texture spreads like a liquid foundation, so you need to be careful with how much product you use. Just like when applying foundation with a spatula, make sure to control the amount at the dispenser before applying. When you do this, it applies beautifully. Even though it's a semi-matte, matte yet moisturized formula, it feels so lightweight on the face that there's no heaviness or discomfort throughout the day. That's why it's called Mask Fit—it truly lives up to its name. The coverage I accidentally misused a sebum control product and ended up with breakouts and enlarged pores. I couldn't ignore the need for good coverage, and this cushion delivers like an AI filter with blur effect. It smooths out pore size, pore count, texture, and blemishes, giving me that flawless, poreless egg-white skin appearance. The staying power This cushion keeps your skin looking perfect for 12 to 15 hours, so you need to apply it carefully the first time. There's no powder kickup or separation—it stays exactly as you applied it, which is why your skin looks so good all day long.
