Skin type: oily, sensitive, combination. I really love how this completely covers the folliculitis marks on my skin! That said, it's tricky to control the amount, so sometimes I end up applying it too thick. Plus, whenever my face gets even slightly dry, it feels like the product cracks and flakes everywhere, which is frustrating. The shade also runs quite dark, so I'd recommend going one shade lighter than you think you need! Best of all, it has this gorgeous luminous finish that makes your complexion look healthy and radiant. The Tilrtil cushion is generally great, but I did notice some darkening as the day progresses. It matches my skin tone perfectly at first, but by afternoon it shifts slightly darker. That said, the adhesion and coverage hold up really well throughout the day, so overall I'm still quite satisfied. If you're sensitive to color shifting, it's definitely worth keeping in mind. The Tilrtil cushion's excellent adhesion makes it perfect for layering. If you apply it in thin, multiple layers instead of one thick coat, the finish looks so much more beautiful. When you layer it this way, you'll notice significantly less darkening, and your skin tone stays fresh and even for much longer. Barely any flaking at all! Since my skin tends to be on the dry side, I'm usually dealing with some texture issues no matter how much I exfoliate and care for my skin. But this product? Hardly any flaking whatsoever. The coverage is fantastic too. I don't even need a concealer—just one or two thin layers and it covers blemishes beautifully. Plus, it gives my skin such a natural, seamless finish. The staying power on the skin feels a bit weak. Even with just a light touch from my fingers, it shifts around pretty easily, and I do get some creasing, especially around my nose. That said, the longevity throughout the day is actually pretty decent. A light dusting of setting spray or powder at the end really helps lock everything in place and makes a big difference.
