There's a white cast that happens, and if you spray too much in one spot, you might end up looking like you have gray hair before you even leave the house. What I do is spray it on and then comb through my hair once with a fine-tooth comb. That way, the white cast blends in naturally and disappears. Fair warning though—it can be a bit drying, so if you have hair that tends to look dull, spray from a distance and use just a tiny amount. You'll still get great results without overdoing it.
