This lip product delivers intense moisture that actually lasts throughout the day. I thought nothing could compare to Guerlain's lip oil, but this one definitely holds its own. The texture is a bit stickier than the Guerlain lip oil, but it's not overly tacky compared to other lip glosses on the market. I didn't realize it had a plumping effect when I bought it, but the slight tingle tipped me off. The sensation isn't too strong, so the plumping effect is subtle and comfortable. When applied to the lips, the color is barely visible—just a sheer pink tone—making it perfect as a finishing gloss over your lip color.
It has that Gucci scent and taste to it. Gucci products usually have great quality, but this fragrance and flavor... it's just not it.
When your lips need hydration, apply a thin layer on bare lips like a lip balm, then layer your lipstick or tint on top, and finish with this as a gloss. You'll get beautifully moisturized lips that stay dewy for half the day. Just keep in mind that the color won't stay put, but the moisture is worth it.
