My skin tone falls right in between—shade 21 feels too light, and shade 23 becomes too dark as it sets, so I'm stuck with this tricky in-between complexion. What I love about this Addiction shade 6 is that from the first application, it feels naturally not-too-bright, and as time goes on, it blends seamlessly with my shade 22-23 skin tone. The formula has a flowing texture, but it's not watery at all—there's a subtle thickness to it, and it feels incredibly hydrating! Since I have very dry skin, the luminosity does fade quickly, but when I prep my skin well and apply it, I barely notice any dryness. It feels more hydrating than oily, though compared to Mephisto Waterblend (formerly Peva), this formula does have a bit more oil content. Even as hours pass, I don't experience any pore clogging, and while there's slight emphasis on fine lines, that's really just my own dry skin and wrinkle concerns talking—I don't think most people would notice any texture or pore issues at all. This is a Japanese product. Mishada has a similar-looking product with a comparable name, so next time I'm in the market for a foundation, I'm definitely going to give that one a try. If you blend it out quickly with your brush or sponge, you'll get an even more hydrated, dewy finish!

This is my go-to product throughout winter. It has a dewy finish with a subtle luminous glow. The staying power is impressive too. Container: The plastic packaging is lightweight and super convenient for travel. I wish the container were smaller. It requires a good shake before each use. It works beautifully with a flat brush.
