I have combination skin with an oily tendency, so I was dealing with some dehydration. I decided to give this cream a try. It absorbs beautifully, the texture is almost gel-like and incredibly lightweight, and it leaves my skin feeling refreshingly cool when I apply it. But the next morning, I was surprised to find that my skin had developed some flaking. This had never happened to me before, so I was honestly caught off guard. I think the alcohol content might be the culprit behind this reaction, so I'd really recommend either removing the alcohol from the formula or skipping it altogether. It's such a shame because I was initially so drawn to this cream since it's formulated with heartleaf extract as its main ingredient.

This hydrating cream delivers moisture without feeling sticky or heavy, absorbs beautifully into skin, and is priced lower than comparable moisturizers on the market. When stored in the refrigerator and applied before use, it provides amazing soothing and cooling benefits perfect for summer. I highly recommend this product! There's really nothing major to complain about, though I think it would be even better if it came in a tube format instead. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with it. Even though my skin is dry, using a regular cream in summer felt way too heavy and sticky. I was looking into soothing creams when I found this one on sale and decided to give it a try. For a soothing cream, it has a nice amount of moisture that works perfectly for dry skin like mine. When I apply it, there's a slight cooling effect that feels amazing on my flushed, irritated face during the hot summer months. I haven't found anything disappointing about this product so far during all the time I've been using it.

For context, I usually just use a toner and cream, with an essence occasionally. Now I've switched my toner to Neogen's Houttuynia Cordata essence, which has a really lightweight, watery texture. There was this period when my skin was incredibly reactive and nothing seemed to work, no matter what I applied. I remembered that Houttuynia Cordata ingredients had worked well for me before, so I searched for a cream with that ingredient and just randomly grabbed this one on Coupang. Wow, it's so hydrating and soothing—I'm obsessed! It absorbs quickly even when I apply a generous amount, so on dry days I just layer it on again, and it feels amazing. Honestly, I've finally gotten to use a rich moisturizing cream without worrying about my skin getting oily, which is such a relief after all this time. The price point is also really reasonable and fair. The only thing is the jar packaging—that's really the only drawback. Otherwise, I love everything about it. I've tried the tube version of another Houttuynia Cordata cream twice, but something felt off about it, so I ended up giving those to my friend and sister who have tougher skin. I wish they'd come out with a tube version instead. During winter when things get really dry sometimes, I'll layer another cream on top like Bioderma, or I'll add an extra hyaluronic acid essence to boost the hydration.

I'm satisfied with the amount you get for the price. At first, I thought it felt a bit heavy, but after using it for a while, I realized it has just the right amount of moisture. Plus, I love that it contains houttuynia cordata! It's not purely hydrating like I expected. After applying it all over, I could definitely feel a slight oily residue on my skin.

I love how this applies smoothly and feels so lightweight. There's barely any stickiness at all, which makes it perfect for everyday wear. My nose area tends to get really dry, and when I wake up in the morning, I notice flaking and peeling right on my nose. It contains houttuynia cordata extract. Nothing particularly impressive, but nothing disappointing either. The texture is on the lighter side. It's pretty middle-of-the-road with no major standouts, but that's perfectly fine.
