This product is so gentle that I can use it on its own without any issues. Since I have sensitive skin, I was worried that switching between multiple products too quickly might cause problems, so I'm sticking with just this one. There's not much to complain about. The fragrance is subtle and it doesn't feel overly oily.

When you apply it, your face becomes incredibly smooth and dewy. The texture is kind of like an emulsion, you know? And the scent is exactly the aromatic fragrance I love. When you apply it, your skin feels so plump and hydrated. The lavender scent felt nice at first, but I wish it were a bit more subtle. It's a little stronger than I'd prefer. I don't usually use a lot of product—just about the size of a small coin. When you use too much, it can feel a bit sticky, kind of like those Japanese mochi toners from way back. I was curious so I decided to try it. The scent has this lovely aromatic quality to it, and it feels really gentle on my skin. It feels like it sits on top of my skin without fully absorbing. It's reliable and the hydration is fantastic. I haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts, which is great! This product is surprisingly amazing. My hands and face became incredibly smooth and silky in just one day. It's not heavy at all, yet the moisturizing power is fantastic. Even my rough hand backs that used to feel dry despite thick hand cream applications now look glossy and radiant. The scent isn't my favorite. It starts off smelling like fresh forest notes but then shifts to something medicinal. This product offers excellent value for money. Because it's affordable, you can use it without worrying about waste or overuse. It doesn't provide a hydrating sensation. I wouldn't recommend using it before applying makeup.

I visited Muji out of curiosity and decided to pick up this essence because I needed a hydrating treatment. While there aren't many reviews on Hwahae yet, I'm happy to give it a try! The product itself is really gentle on the skin. There's no stinging sensation, and it feels so moisturizing that I think it would work wonderfully for dry skin types. It reminds me of the essence I used to love from Cica X - similar vibes but with a slightly richer, more luxurious feel compared to Cica Nic. The texture is beautifully hydrating. There's a subtle fragrance that feels fresh and uplifting to me - a light spearmint mint scent. The ingredients are solid, and for the price point, this essence is definitely worth it. When applying, the formula has a slight slipping sensation on the skin. However, it absorbs quickly. Because it's quite rich, I occasionally get small breakouts. I don't think this would be suitable for oily skin types.
