It removes really cleanly and the finish is better than I expected. So refreshing! Some residue tends to stay on the sides of the nose, so you'll need to wash it off carefully when cleansing.

I spend at least $120 every month just on at-home skincare products, and I've tried modeling masks from esthetic brands, drugstore lines, you name it. But after testing everything out there, I always come back to Lindsay Lee Natural Black Mud. After using the Black Mud a couple times, I was so impressed that I picked up other products from the same line—the Tea Tree and Vegetable formulas. The Tea Tree didn't work out for my skin though; my complexion would get irritated and break out the day after using it, so I stopped. Even though I have the Vegetable mask, I honestly just stick with the Black Mud every time. It's just that good. No downsides at all! I think beginners might find it tricky to get the water ratio right at first. But once you use it a few times, you'll notice that this glucose-based modeling mask sets more slowly than regular diatomaceous earth masks, which actually makes it so much easier to apply. Plus, there's no flaking or drying, so when you peel it off, it comes away super cleanly and smoothly. Before applying the mask, always prep your skin first with an aloe or gel-type product, followed by an essence or ampoule. Then go ahead and apply the mask. It sets up like a gel with a really hydrating feel, and it peels off so cleanly. I originally picked this up for pore care, but the cooling effect is amazing—it actually soothes my skin too. I'm genuinely impressed with how well it works. Honestly, there's nothing I'd complain about. I bought this specifically for pore management and I'm absolutely thrilled! This is my first time trying the Line Natural line, and whether it's because of the glucose or not, there's barely any residue left after using the modeling pack - seriously almost zero! The sensation is intense and refreshing, almost like peppermint, and you can still feel that cooling effect even after removing the pack. I found a spoon inside the modeling pack - I'm not sure why you put it in there, but could you please move it outside the package? Other than that, I don't really have any complaints! The product amount is incredibly generous. You'll have plenty left over even after using it twice. Since it comes with a lid, you can use about half, cover it up, and use it again later! (Whether you have a larger face or you're a man, you can get about two uses out of it, so don't try to use it all at once—definitely split it into two applications.) In the second photo, I still had this much left even on my second use! I really appreciate that a spatula is included, though I find it a bit difficult to apply with. Personally, I have a silicone spatula that works much better for me, so I'd recommend using one of those if you have it! The scent and experience are wonderful. There's a gentle cooling effect with a refreshing mint note that lingers. From the moment you apply it, throughout the application, and even after you remove it and finish with your moisturizer—it stays beautifully cool! Especially in summer when your skin feels heated, using this feels even more refreshing and invigorating! I like to apply this modeling mask before showering, and by the time it starts to set, I hop in the shower. The cooling sensation lasts the entire shower—it's amazing! You'll notice an immediate pore-refining effect. In summer, I'm always looking for a gently cooling product, and this completely delivers. I'm definitely buying this again. The only thing I wish was different is that the mint scent comes through pretty strongly. If you're sensitive to fragrance, just keep that in mind! Based on one application, you can comfortably divide it into two uses! (If you try to use it all at once, you'll end up with leftovers anyway, which feels wasteful. You'll still have some left even after two applications.) When you first open it, just peel back the film a little bit, scoop out about half to use, and when storing it, make sure to seal the lid tightly. Just remember to use it up within a few days!
