I've definitely noticed that scalp and hair need different care. Even without applying a separate essence, my hair feels calm and silky-smooth, and the scent is amazing! The lather is incredibly rich and dense. My hair settles down nicely without getting weighed down or sticking flat, and my scalp feels so comfortable. I'm really happy with this product overall! The only thing is, if you're like me and focus mainly on scalp care, using this daily might feel like too much. I'd suggest using it a few times a week instead for the best results. I personally like to let shampoos sit for about 2-3 minutes unless the formula has ingredients I'm concerned about. I totally messed up my perm and my hair got really damaged, so I started using this recovery shampoo. After I wash with it, my hair feels so soft and fluffy - you can notice the difference right away. This is definitely one of the most effective damage-repair shampoos I've tried. I wish it wasn't so expensive. The price is really steep and I'd love to see it come down a bit. Pro tip: if you brush your hair gently before shampooing, you'll get even better results.

The scent is lovely, and I'm especially impressed by how it creates a rich, dense lather! Despite that luxurious feel, it doesn't leave your hair feeling heavy or weighed down. Since I have sensitive, oily scalp, using it daily feels like too much and makes my hair feel greasy, but for dry seasons like now, I think using it once or twice a week would be perfect. I picked this up based on a recommendation for the treatment from the same product line, and I really noticed a clear improvement in my hair texture. The stylist at the salon suggested it, so I decided to give it a try. I'm not sure why, but every time I use this product alone, I experience significant hair shedding. It just doesn't seem to work well with my hair. While my hair quality did improve, my scalp became incredibly itchy, and the hair loss got so bad after using this that I had to switch to a scalp-specific product instead. I visited a scalp care clinic and got a scalp diagnosis, then purchased this product based on their recommendation that same day. I used it for about three to four months until it was completely finished. I was skeptical at first, but since I have dry and sensitive skin, I decided to give it a try anyway. To my surprise, this is the first shampoo I've ever used where I had absolutely no complaints while using it. The price is a bit steep, and when I wanted to repurchase it, it was out of stock, so I've been using a different shampoo instead. But I can definitely tell the difference—my hair feels much less dry and my scalp sensitivity is so much better when I use this product. Once it's back in stock, I'm going to keep using this unless I find something even better. The price is a bit high, I'll admit. I haven't tried many other products, so I can't say for certain, but for the results you get, I think the price is worth it and I'd be happy to keep buying it. Plus, the bottle size is actually pretty generous for what you're paying.

I got this repair shampoo recommended by a friend because it's supposed to be great for hair hydration. I can definitely tell the difference after using it - my hair feels so soft and nourished, without that dry, straw-like feeling I used to get. After washing, my scalp feels refreshed and surprisingly, I haven't experienced any scalp irritation even with these ingredients. The packaging design is really stylish, and since it's a generous size, it lasts me quite a long time. I wish they would reformulate some of the ingredients - there are a few components I'm not entirely happy with. It's also a fairly pricey product. Great duty-free purchase option. For best results, work up a good lather in your hands first, then apply to your scalp and hair and massage thoroughly.
