The pump dispenser is the issue. Each pump releases such a small amount that you need to pump it 2 or 3 times just to wash your body (and I usually use less soap or cleanser than most people). Plus, it doesn't create a rich, luxurious lather. If you keep your body wash on a lower shelf rather than a high one, you'll find it takes less effort to pump it out.
