I love applying a generous amount before bed during winter, and when I wake up in the morning, I gently massage it off while brushing my teeth. It's such an effective way to slough away dead skin and reveal smoother skin underneath. That said, if you're looking to use it as part of your regular skincare routine without the overnight treatment, the moisturizing power feels a bit lacking for everyday wear.

The best part is it's not sticky at all, so if you hate that tacky feeling, this is perfect for you. The fragrance is way too strong. It has an overpowering scent, and when it gets in your mouth, it tastes really odd. I'm honestly not a fan of the smell at all. Since there's no applicator, applying it by hand can be tricky because it gets stuck under your nails - a cotton swab works great for this. If you apply a generous amount before bed and sleep with it on, you'll wake up with beautifully moisturized lips.

The fragrance also lasts quite a long time! There's a bit of scrub in it, but when I apply it to my lips, it melts away quickly and feels incredibly lightweight. Since I usually prefer pot-type lip products with a thicker, more substantial texture, I was a bit disappointed by how light this feels. I also wish it came with an applicator tool. The moisturizing power was decent enough, but because it dries fairly quickly instead of staying tacky, I found myself needing to reapply it frequently. Since it contains scrub particles and comes in a pot format, I feel like I can only use it at home. Compared to other pot-type lip balms and lip masks from other brands, the hydration isn't quite as impressive, so I'm not motivated to repurchase. Plus, even though there's scrub in it, I honestly can't tell if it's actually effective at removing dead skin. Since the scrub melts when it comes into contact with the warmth of your hands, I'd recommend using an applicator tool instead of applying it directly with your fingers!

This works amazingly as a moisturizing oil treatment for lips. I highly recommend it! There's absolutely no sticky residue, and it won't leave your hair feeling greasy if it happens to touch. When I apply this over lipstick, it transfers quite a bit and mixes together, which isn't really the intended way to use it. I'd suggest using this as your go-to lip treatment at home. For a lip balm to wear out and about, you might want to look for something with less transfer so it stays put throughout the day.

I received this as a gift set with Nuxe oil and decided to try it out. I'm just as satisfied with it as I am with Laneige masks There's nothing majorly disappointing about it. One-line review: This lip balm delivers superior moisture compared to stick formulas and applies beautifully! Since Nuxe is a renowned brand known for oils and skincare, I decided to give it a try. It's made with 100% natural ingredients, featuring rose extract and shea butter as the main components. While it's called Berry Rose Lip Balm, the scent isn't actually rosy—it smells like vintage car air freshener with coffee and tea notes, which is pretty funny! The color is pink, but it doesn't provide any tint. When you apply it, it melts incredibly smoothly onto your lips with such a pleasant texture. The moisture level is noticeably better than stick-type balms. I apply it before bed and my lips feel so much healthier. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone struggling with dry, parched lips! Since it's not in a stick format, it's a bit inconvenient to carry around and reapply throughout the day. That's why I only use it at home. The scent really does remind me of that old-school car air freshener with coffee notes, so if you're not into that kind of fragrance, you might feel differently about it. But I'm a fan! If you want to keep things hygienic, try using just the tip of your fingernail to scoop out a small amount and apply it, or use a cotton swab or spatula applicator instead.
