I've been on a quest to find the right shampoo for my oily scalp issues, and I've tried quite a few. This one cleanses well and has a fresh, clean scent. The fragrance doesn't linger too much, which I appreciate. My scalp feels calm and comfortable with no irritation. I'd say this works for me about 70% of the time. The lather isn't very generous, so I end up using more product than I'd like. It does work a bit better if I wet my hair again between applications. Overall, it just wasn't quite right for me. While the cleansing was effective and my scalp felt soothed, I started getting small breakouts and flaking around the back of my head. It's worth grabbing during a sale at Olive Young. Honestly, you can't really know if a product will work for you until you try it. This is a solid option, so I'd recommend giving it a shot.

This has such a refreshing feel that's perfect for summer. The scent is lovely and the generous size means I got great use out of it. Since it doesn't lather up as much as expected, I found myself using more product than I anticipated. Since this is formulated for oily scalps, it definitely has a powerful cleansing effect. The scent is incredibly fresh and citrusy with a bright lemon fragrance. The strong lemon aroma does a great job of masking any unwanted hair odors, so I'd especially recommend this to anyone who's concerned about scalp odor at the crown of their head. It's honestly quite drying. I can actually feel my hair strands becoming stiff and rigid.

This is an absolute must-have for my oily scalp during summer. I've heard that using an oily scalp shampoo every day can actually make things greasier, so I use it just once every 2-3 days instead. When I use it, I can really feel how thoroughly it removes oil buildup from my hair, but the trade-off is that my hair gets quite stiff afterward, so a conditioner and leave-in treatment are essential for me. Even though it contains some potentially irritating ingredients, I haven't experienced any breakouts on my scalp since I started using it, so I'm really happy with it. It's a bit disappointing that 4 out of 20 potentially irritating ingredients are included in the formula. If you use it on its own without doing a first cleanse with a regular shampoo, it doesn't lather very well. When I do a first wash with a regular shampoo and then use this product as my second cleanse, it lathers beautifully and my hair stays noticeably fresher the next day before the oil buildup returns.
