After cleansing, my skin feels hydrated and comfortable without any tightness, and I'm really happy with how soft and supple it leaves my complexion. It's gentle enough that even if it accidentally gets in your eyes, it won't sting, so anyone with sensitive skin can use it without worry! Cleansing Balm: The mandarin scent is subtle, but it's definitely a fragrance that some people will love and others might not be as into. How to Use the Cleansing Balm: Scoop out an appropriate amount of the balm and massage it gently onto your face. It melts smoothly and effortlessly lifts away all your makeup for a clean finish. Add a bit of lukewarm water to emulsify the balm, then rinse thoroughly. Your skin will feel completely clean with no residue left behind. - ss********Da hỗn hợpLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenĐược đề xuất30/10/2024 (UTC+0)
I loved that this night treatment doesn't feel heavy at all. It removes makeup so gently and smoothly, and it's fantastic for managing blackheads. The scent is lovely, and after cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight or oily—there's no residue left behind. I even used it when my skin was going through a sensitive, breakout-prone phase, and it didn't irritate my skin one bit. While it works wonderfully for me, my sister has dry and sensitive skin, and she finds it a bit stinging. I think it would be great if you could adjust the formula to be gentler. If you use this with a pore brush during the cleansing process, it's absolutely amazing for blackhead control and removes even stubborn shimmer and glitter that doesn't usually wash away easily. - su********Da dầuDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất06/04/2023 (UTC+0)
I have extremely oily skin with persistent blackheads and sebum buildup, but my skin barrier is strong. #Non-dripping formula First, I found it really inconvenient when using other liquid oil cleansers because they would drip downward due to gravity. Even when transferring from my hands to my face, the product would run down, which wasn't ideal. Since this is a balm type, it doesn't drip, and the formula stays in place unless I actively massage it into my skin, which is so convenient. Even when the balm turns into an oil from my skin's warmth, the thick oil consistency means it still doesn't run, so I can massage it in thoroughly and carefully. At first, I just thought it was convenient to use, but when I tried a liquid formula at a friend's place, I really felt the difference. I realized how much easier the balm type is to use. I need to apply minimal pressure and massage carefully, and since the oil has almost no flow, I can take my time and work through my skin gently without worrying about the product running everywhere. #Powerful cleansing Even though it's a balm, because it's oil-based, it dissolves almost all makeup. Seriously, even stubborn mascara and eyeliner come off completely when I massage my eyes gently, then move to other areas, and finish by going back to my eyes, emulsify, and rinse. However, since I have extremely oily skin, I use waterproof mascara with a fixative and a super long-wearing liquid eyeliner that resists oils. I also use an eye primer and eyeshadow to boost the eyeliner's staying power, so I'm basically doing heavy-duty makeup application. With all that, the mascara and eyeliner don't come off completely. For reference, even my eye and lip remover doesn't remove it in one go. But the fact that this cleansing balm removes almost 90 percent without a dedicated eye remover is pretty impressive. Still, to get everything completely clean, here's my routine: 1. Shake the eye remover well and saturate a cotton pad with it. 2. Apply the remover-soaked pad to my eyebrows and lashes. 3. Brush my teeth or do something else for about 5 minutes. 4. Gently wipe my eyes with a cleansing cotton pad. 5. Cleanse my entire face, including my eyes, with this cleansing balm. This way, I can remove everything completely. #Subtle and fresh scent I love that it doesn't have that typical oily or petroleum smell that some oil cleansers have. Even though I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, since I massage this on my face for a while, I sometimes notice strong oil smells from other products, which is not great. This Heimish All Cleansing Balm comes in unscented and mandarin versions. I haven't tried the unscented one, only the mandarin, and I really enjoy the subtle mandarin scent. The fragrance isn't overpowering and it's just right. I wasn't sure what mandarin scent was at first, but I think it's a citrus fruit like tangerine or orange. You can actually guess the fruit from the smell. I prefer fruity scents over floral ones, so this was even better for me. #Smooth application Of course, since it's oil-based, it's naturally smooth, but even when the balm turns into an oil from my skin's warmth, it's thicker and denser than liquid oils, so it applies more like a milky consistency on my skin. To compare it to creams, it's like how a lightweight, transparent hydrating cream feels different from a heavier, opaque cream with more oils. Because of this, even when I massage for a long time, there's less irritation from the massage itself. You'll especially notice this difference on sensitive areas like the eye area. #True all-in-one as the name suggests Since I have extremely oily skin, I use a foam cleanser about 80 percent of the time. However, if you don't have extremely oily, acne-prone, or sensitive skin like me, and you emulsify thoroughly and rinse well with water, you don't need a second cleanse. Your skin will feel hydrated and soft. Since emulsification works well even with a little water, if you're thorough, you don't need to worry. The balm type actually seems to emulsify even better. Of course, you already know that with any oil cleanser, if you don't emulsify thoroughly and don't rinse carefully all the way to your hairline and jawline, you'll get breakouts. #Spatula is essential Since this is a solid balm with a yellowish tint, you need to use the included spatula to scoop it out. It's not hard and comes off easily, but because it melts easily from your hand or skin temperature, you really need to use a tool. This means you can use it cleanly, but honestly, using your hands will be difficult from the start. So if you lose or break the spatula, you'll need to find an ice cream spoon or something similar to use instead. I didn't break mine while using the whole jar, so just be careful not to lose it. #Pumping is convenient, though To store the spatula and keep things hygienic, there's an inner cap inside the outer lid. Compared to simple liquid oil cleansers where you just pump and you're done, with this you have to open the outer cap, grab the spatula, open the inner cap, scoop it out, then I either apply it directly to my face or put some on my finger, close the inner cap again, place the spatula back on top, and close the outer cap before putting it away. It's the same process as using cream or exfoliating toner, so it's not too bothersome for me, but if you're only used to pumping, it might feel pretty inconvenient. I'm not particularly affected by ingredients, and thankfully I have resilient skin—my pores and sensitivity basically don't exist. The only issue is my severe blackheads, so I do oil cleansing daily, focusing on my nose and the sides of my nose, not just when removing makeup. I have a lot of blackheads and whiteheads, and this product really helps. Of course, if it were just blackheads, I'd rotate between a few different oils including this one, but when removing makeup, I always use this product. After finishing one jar and opening a new one, I felt like I absolutely had to recommend this product, so I'm writing this review. The slightly thick oil formula really grabs onto sebum and makeup and dissolves them beautifully. I'm completely hooked on the charm of this balm-type cleanser.
