During summer, this alone seems like it would be enough, but for transitional seasons or dry winters, I just layer an emulsion or cream on top for complete moisture lock-in. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that it runs out pretty quickly since my child loves it so much and keeps wanting to spray it. That's really the only complaint I have. We definitely need a larger size option. Every night after bath time, I just pat my child dry with a towel and spray this on before applying emulsion. When I massage it in gently with my hands, it leaves the skin feeling hydrated and refreshed without any dryness. I only apply emulsion separately to the face, elbows, and knees.
