I've been using this for about six months now, and I absolutely love how well it adheres and covers. My skin tone sits between shades 21 and 23, so I went with 23, and it's perfect without looking dull or heavy. If I'd chosen 21, it would have been way too light. I switch between the Silky Fixing Powder and the Velvet Resting Powder depending on how my skin feels each day. No breakouts at all. If you have prominent pores, I'd recommend applying a thicker primer first before using this powder. When I'm out for longer periods and need to touch up my makeup, I use a puff to gently blot away the excess shine that builds up on my T-zone since I have combination skin. Then I reapply the powder and press it in with light tapping motions, and it looks freshly applied again. Just make sure to swap out your puff frequently to keep things clean.

The velvet texture means there's no greasy shine at all. What I really love is that it applies smoothly and hydrated across the board, so even though my skin tends to be dry, it never feels tight or uncomfortable. It does feel moisturizing, but you need to tap it in quite a bit to get it to blend seamlessly. I have combination skin and this product feels so smooth and comfortable. Even though I'm not the most skilled with makeup application, the adhesion is fantastic and the coverage is really impressive. You just glide it on and tap it in—it's so easy that anyone can use it beautifully. There aren't many shade options available, and I saw lots of reviews saying it runs light, so I picked shade 23. I used to wear Age to Twenties shade 13, but it was way too dark for me, so I ended up giving it away. This time, I decided to try both shades 17 and 19! 2. Shade 17 vs Shade 19 Both shades are quite bright and neutral, leaning neither toward yellow nor pink undertones, so they work beautifully regardless of your skin tone. Honestly, when I apply shades 17 and 19 on my face, there's barely any difference, so my plan is to use shade 17 on days when I do eye makeup and stick with shade 19 for everyday wear. The difference is so minimal that you could honestly choose based on which one's on sale. Check out the photos for reference! I'd recommend just getting your usual shade number, and you'll definitely get that luminous, glowing finish! 3. Texture and Coverage The previous Age to Twenties formula was packed with oils and had minimal coverage, but this one is the complete opposite—it has less oil and delivers impressive coverage. It feels similar to the old balm-type BB cream, but with even less greasiness. The moisture it provides feels purely hydrating, so there's zero oily sensation. Even as time passes, there's barely any oil buildup, so you get a clean, shine-free finish. No congestion or breakouts, and I loved how it adheres smoothly to the skin. The coverage is excellent and completely hides redness, but it doesn't feel thick or heavy for daily wear. 4. Adhesion and Application Tips Since my skin tends to be flaky and pore-prone, I prioritize adhesion above all else. This product doesn't cling like a BB cream—instead, it emphasizes coverage and color payoff like a foundation. But here's the interesting part: as time goes on and natural oils come through, it actually adheres even better! When I do touch-ups, it blends seamlessly without clumping or feeling stiff. As long as you prep your skin well, this product applies beautifully no matter what. Apply it over a well-hydrated base, and you'll achieve that flawless, poreless skin finish! 5. Formula Characteristics and Base Pairing This is a product that looks best with a single layer rather than multiple applications. In hot summer weather, I got about 5-6 hours of wear! I'd recommend doing a touch-up around the 6-hour mark. I've been a loyal Age to Twenties user for almost a decade, so when I heard they launched a new line, I had to try it.
