I have extremely sensitive skin, and this has been my go-to cleanser for years now. My cheeks tend to be dry (very dry in winter, dry in summer), my forehead is normal (normal in winter, oily in summer), and my nose is oily—so I have combination skin that's quite reactive and unpredictable. I've tried so many cleansers that people raved about, but they always left my cheeks feeling tight or my pores feeling uncomfortably parched. This soap is completely different—it doesn't give me that stripped feeling at all, so I've been using it for about four years now. What I love: Even though my skin is extremely sensitive, this works beautifully for me. (I got a bit too comfortable with just this one product and switched to a different cleanser. Within days, tiny whiteheads popped up all over my forehead. I was worried, so I switched back to this soap, and honestly, they disappeared within three days. It was amazing!) I think the biggest advantage is how gentle it is. I've tried all the trendy cleansers out there, but nothing compares to this one. The scent isn't artificial—it smells like grain or something natural. I'm so used to it now after all these years that it doesn't bother me, but when I first started using it, the scent was a bit noticeable. If you're sensitive to fragrance, this might not be for you. It doesn't create a lot of lather. That said, if you use a cleansing net, it works just fine. I can't remove all my makeup with just this cleanser, so I do a two-step routine: first, I use a gentler cleansing milk to remove makeup, then I follow up with this as my second cleanse. That works perfectly for me.

Even though my skin is dry, I don't experience that uncomfortable tight feeling after washing. When I just rinse it off normally, it's decent, but when I work up a rich lather using a foaming net and massage it in, my skin feels so much more moisturized and my occasional breakouts calm down significantly! Compared to other cleansing products, this one is gentler and more nourishing, so I keep coming back to it. The cleansing power is a bit weak, so I need to do a double cleanse with another product to fully remove my makeup. It stings quite a bit if it gets in my eyes. If you work up a thick, creamy lather with a foaming net and massage for about 3 minutes, your skin feels even more hydrated, refreshed, and soothed. (I used a foaming net from a discount store.)

I'm not sure if it just wasn't right for my skin at first or if I wasn't using it correctly, but my skin did have a rough patch during the initial weeks of use.

I have sensitive skin and I haven't experienced any breakouts, which is amazing. Since it's summer and my skin gets oily throughout the day, my makeup wasn't setting well in the morning. I decided to try this and I'm really happy with it. There's nothing major to complain about, but since it uses natural ingredients, it doesn't create a lot of lather, which is something to note. After cleansing, my skin feels so fresh and clean, and my breakouts seem to disappear I haven't used it much yet so I can't say for sure, but the scent isn't really my thing
