I'm really happy with how nourishing it is! As a treatment, it's just too lightweight for my needs. Since I have long hair, I ended up having to pump out way more product than I'd like to use it efficiently. I decided to buy the shampoo and conditioner set together to really maximize the fragrance experience. The scent is absolutely lovely, just as expected. However, I have to say the conditioning treatment benefits are a bit lacking. Since the fragrance is really the main focus, I didn't go in with high expectations for performance, so I'm not disappointed. I really appreciated that this is a silicone-free formula that's safe to use on the scalp too, so I didn't have to worry about it touching my roots. After applying the treatment and letting it sit for a bit, rinsing it out was so smooth - my hair didn't tangle or snag during the rinse, which was fantastic. When I first washed my hair, the soap scent was quite strong, so I wasn't sure if it was really rose fragrance. But after shampooing and conditioning, I could definitely smell that gorgeous damascus rose scent! This treatment from Milk Baobab is on the lighter side compared to their other products, so I think it works best for hair that isn't severely damaged. If your hair is in really bad condition, it might not give you that perfect creamy texture you're looking for. But honestly, the fragrance is absolutely wonderful! Since my hair is severely damaged, I wish this treatment was a bit thicker and more slippery. Other than that, everything else is great!

It rinses out beautifully and feels gentle on my hair. Honestly, silicone-free products can be hit or miss—sometimes they leave your hair feeling weighed down or do absolutely nothing—but this one strikes the perfect balance. My hair has that nice bounce and shine without any of that heavy, sticky feeling. As for the scent, since it's hypoallergenic, it's pretty subtle. When I'm washing, I get just a hint of rose fragrance, but once my hair dries, it's barely noticeable. If I really lean in close, I can smell it, but it's so faint that I can't quite tell if it's rose or more of a clean soap scent. I think because I rinse my hair thoroughly, the fragrance doesn't linger as much. But honestly, that's a huge plus for me because regular fragranced products actually irritate my scalp and cause flaking. With this one, I don't have that problem at all. The price point is decent, but here's the thing—since this is a conditioner and not a body wash, it's hard to really enjoy the fragrance while you're using it. Plus, once your hair dries, the scent basically disappears, so I don't think I'd repurchase this. I'd rather just use an unscented product for washing and apply a hypoallergenic fragrance separately if I want that scent experience.
