It really does a great job filling in pores, though I'm not sure if it lives up to all the hype My sensitive skin completely reacted badly to this product. It took three weeks to recover, and I ended up needing prescription medication from my doctor

I've been using this powder for over 10 years now. I started with it as my go-to pore-minimizing powder, and I loved it so much that I've kept repurchasing it even after reformulations. This new version is absolutely incredible—the texture is incredibly fine and refined! It feels so lightweight that when I apply it to my skin, I can barely tell it's there. What I really appreciate is that I can use powder without that heavy, suffocating feeling on my skin. The lavender shade is gorgeous too, giving such a natural, brightening effect. On days when I finish my base with this powder, my complexion stays fresh and radiant throughout the afternoon without that darkening that usually happens. The particles are so fine that the oil-control staying power feels a bit weaker compared to the previous formula. Because of this, the pore-blurring effect isn't quite as strong as I'd hoped. 1. If you want a matte finish with strong oil control and better pore coverage, I'd recommend applying it with the built-in sponge. 2. If you prefer a lighter touch and just want to absorb excess oil, use a brush and gently tap it on for a more natural finish. 3. It doesn't show up perfectly in photos, but the texture is incredibly fine and the pores look genuinely blurred out. It applies smoothly without feeling heavy either. That said, compared to the clear version, I don't really notice a huge difference in how much extra coverage the lavender provides for yellow undertones. Hmm, it's a bit pricey, honestly. I'm already really happy with the Vanilla Co. powder and use it regularly, so that's saying something. But here's the thing—Makeup Forever has such gorgeous packaging, you know?
