I experienced breakouts on my chin area from retinol side effects, and while they've mostly cleared up, I still get occasional flare-ups and some lingering marks. I've been using this since late last year to manage the irritation, and I always mixed it at a 9:1 ratio with cream. Thanks to that approach, my breakouts definitely improved. But after several months of consistent use with the diluted formula, I noticed my skin built up tolerance and the results became less noticeable. Recently, I've been getting more under-the-skin bumps, so I applied the same cream mixture just to those spots. When that didn't work as well, I decided to try applying the pure serum directly to just that area as my final skincare step. The next day, I was amazed to see the bumps had visibly calmed down! Everyone always says never to use the pure formula alone, and honestly, they're right. But if you've been using it for months like I have and built up tolerance, don't give up thinking it's stopped working. Using just a tiny amount of the pure serum on its own might actually be worth trying. Of course!!! If you have sensitive skin or a thin skin barrier, definitely skip this approach!! I only use it on my lower jaw area. The scent is pretty strong, I'll be honest. And sometimes if I mess up the amount and apply too much, my face gets hot and stings. Be careful!!! - af****Da hỗn hợpDa mụn04/02/2025 (UTC+0)
It didn't work quite as well for calming acne as advertised. Honestly, I found the tea tree oil from Aesence Hub to be more effective. The fragrance is way too strong and feels really irritating. Plus, it's so watery that it just runs right off, making it annoying to use. - su*****Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmQuầng thâm mắtKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất28/12/2024 (UTC+0)
It definitely works! The results really depend on the type of blemish you're treating. For those angry, inflamed breakouts that look like they're about to pop, the calming effect is seriously noticeable. You really need to be careful with how much you use. I learned the hard way that applying it directly to bare skin isn't a good idea. Since this is such a potent formula, it works best when you layer it over your base products and apply it as a final step. I tried using it straight on my face once and my skin got pretty irritated from it. Now I always apply my skincare base first, then use this on top. The price is pretty steep for such a small amount, but honestly it's fine since you don't need to use it every day anyway. - ph****Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất04/11/2024 (UTC+0)
When my skin isn't sensitive, I apply benzoyl peroxide to the affected area before bed and wait for it to absorb completely. Then I mix just a drop or two into a rich moisturizing cream and apply it generously. As the acne gradually dries out, it starts to fade away. When my skin is feeling sensitive, I skip the benzoyl peroxide and gently pat this product on first. Once it's fully absorbed, I apply a hydrocolloid patch on top. This really stings! The irritation is mentioned in the product description, but it's honestly more intense than I expected. The more problematic the area, the stronger the irritation seems to be. Don't use this around your mouth if you have breakouts there. That's also why they recommend mixing it with a rich moisturizing cream. Never apply the concentrated formula directly to bare skin. There's definitely a reason they warn against it. Also, if you only have one or two problem spots, mixing just one drop into your cream should be enough. Two drops max if needed, but honestly, you don't need more than that. If your acne is spread over a large area, calm it down first, then use this product on the bigger individual breakouts. Since this is designed for spot treatment, applying it to every single blemish in a concentrated area ends up covering almost as much as if you'd applied it all over, which defeats the purpose and causes unnecessary irritation. - c_*****Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất03/09/2024 (UTC+0)
Outstanding soothing power - acne really does diminish noticeably. Honestly, if you can get past the scent, it's totally worth it! The mint fragrance is incredibly intense - like 100 times concentrated. It can feel a bit irritating on more delicate areas like around the mouth and between the brows. Use this as the final step in your skincare routine!

Honestly, I couldn't detect much difference compared to products with tea tree oil. The scent is quite overpowering and not particularly pleasant. I'd recommend storing this in a well-ventilated area. If you keep it in a closed container, the fragrance becomes overwhelming inside, and you'll need to air things out for quite a while. As for clearing up blemishes and breakouts, I didn't really see any noticeable improvement.
