I woke up with dehydration underneath the surface, which was disappointing. This cream is literally a lifesaver for me... I'm so grateful - I have adult acne-prone skin, and honestly, every cream I've tried either stings or leaves my pores feeling clogged and uncomfortable, which triggers breakouts immediately. For over 10 years, even during harsh winters with heating, I could only use lightweight hydrating gels because my skin is so sensitive. I can't even apply gel to my T-zone without getting breakouts (even a slightly tacky gel causes problems; I have to be super careful with the amount). - Dermatologist-recommended moisturizing creams also feel greasy and stinging, so I couldn't use those either. - Estheticians kept insisting I needed to protect my moisture barrier, so I bought a cream that caused fewer breakouts and had to mix it 1:1 with aloe gel just to use it (breakouts still happened though). I absolutely recommend this for anyone with a compromised skin barrier! I struggled for two years with sudden breakouts and inflammation, but honestly, things improved dramatically after I started using Purcell. My skin barrier seemed to collapse from work stress and fatigue, and this cream really helped calm everything down. The ampoule is great too, but I've found that this cream really shines when I use them together. My skin is super sensitive and usually reacts immediately to ingredients that don't agree with it, but I haven't experienced any of that with this product. In fact, whenever I feel a breakout coming on from incompatible products, applying this cream soothes my skin right away! Honestly, I don't really have any complaints. If I had to pick something, the jar packaging is a bit inconvenient. I recommend using this together with the Purcell ampoule.
