This cleanser is genuinely fantastic for acne-prone skin! Since it's a salicylic acid foam cleanser, it really helps with exfoliation and removing dead skin cells. Even though it's marketed as a cleanser for oily skin, it worked wonderfully for me with combination skin too! I also loved how rich and luxurious the lather was! It wasn't bad at all, but I'm using something else right now! It seems a bit irritating, so I'd say no if you have very sensitive skin. I have oily skin and this foaming cleanser works great for me. I used it during summer because it's supposed to be good for oily skin, but it wasn't nearly as drying as I worried it might be. I was able to use it comfortably without any issues. I was hoping it would reduce oil production, but I didn't really notice that effect. It wasn't particularly effective at removing excess sebum either. The formula is quite thick, so when the tube is almost empty, you need to squeeze it with your hands. Tapping or shaking the tube won't get the remaining product out. But if you use a firm tool like a toothpaste squeezer and push from the bottom, it comes out easily. The price is so reasonable that I've been getting great value for my money for three years now. It creates a nice lather and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and tight, which is exactly what I love—and this product delivers perfectly. Since it contains salicylic acid, it's an excellent daily exfoliant for keeping dead skin cells under control. This is a standard foam cleanser formula, and when you lather it up and cleanse with it, makeup comes off really effectively and it removes all the oil too, so I'd definitely recommend it for people with oily skin. And for those dealing with acne concerns, since cleansing is the most important step, I really hope you'll give this a try. This product really sweeps away all the excess oil from your skin - it feels amazing! I'd definitely recommend it for anyone with oily or combination skin. It leaves your complexion feeling beautifully clean and tight. Even though this is made for oily skin types, it turned out to be a bit too harsh for my skin. The first week was fine (I usually use other gentle cleansing products about five times a week anyway), but then I started noticing a lot of flaking and my skin felt really dry and uncomfortable. Of course, everyone's skin is different, but if you have sensitive skin, this might be too strong for daily use. I tried this at a friend's place and loved it so much that I wanted to switch from my usual Good Morning gel cleanser. The ingredients are a bit disappointing though. The lather is fantastic and the texture is so smooth that cleansing feels gentle and non-irritating, which I really appreciate. I'm really let down by the ingredient list. I finished my Stridex alkaline foam cleanser and decided to switch to this one. I'm still exploring different products, so I'm trying out various options. The Cosalx foam cleanser leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean and tight after washing. There's absolutely no residue left behind, and my skin feels so refreshed. That said, I do notice some dryness underneath the surface. It wasn't like this when I was using Stridex. But since I already bought it, I'm committed to using it regularly and following up with my toner right away. This cleanser also lathers really well! I'll keep testing it out and share more detailed thoughts with you soon. There's a bit of that inner dryness going on. But honestly, it's still totally usable and does the job just fine.
