One-line review - A tone-up sunscreen that doesn't leave skin feeling dry I grabbed this because it's from Medipeel and I trusted the brand, but I have to admit I was surprised since it's not quite the type of sunscreen I was looking for. The name "Water Tox" is only half accurate, if you ask me. I'd really recommend focusing on the "close-fit, powdery" texture when deciding to buy this. The formula feels somewhere between a serum and an emulsion, and when you apply it, you get a natural tone-up effect. Like most tone-up products, if you don't blend it carefully, you'll end up with white streaks (just like in the second photo). This isn't a product you can layer multiple times, so I'd suggest applying a transparent sunscreen twice first, then using just a small amount of this tone-up version as the final step. That said, true to its "Water Tox" name, this sunscreen definitely keeps your skin from feeling parched throughout the evening when used alone. It's not overly matte like a pure oil-control product - it finishes more like a semi-matte or semi-glow look, giving you that "matte but moisturized" vibe. However, for anyone dealing with enlarged pores, these white-cast sunscreens tend to settle into pores anyway, which means it's tough to apply sunscreen comfortably without a primer first. Since my eyes are sensitive to irritation, finding the right sunscreen is tricky, and unfortunately this one does cause some mild eye irritation. It's not severe enough that I felt the need to wash my face right away, but after a while, my eyes started to feel a bit stingy, so I had to wipe around my eye area. Still, considering how many sunscreens actually require a full face wash to feel better, I'd say this one performs reasonably well. Applying it with your fingers works best, and using a puff is the next best option. As someone who uses hydrating sunscreen year-round, I'm really satisfied with this product The amount feels a bit skimpy. I wish it came in a larger size, maybe more than 50ml
