I'm a big fan of Natural Shine's lip products, so I've been buying and using several of them. When I heard they launched a lipstick, I grabbed one right away, and I'm so happy with it that I'm planning to repurchase in different shades. Compared to the lip balm formula, the color payoff is so much better and the staying power is impressive. Even after eating, the color still lingers on my lips a bit—it doesn't completely wash away like the lip balm does. The moisture content is great too. While it looks matte without shine, it still keeps my lips from getting flaky, just like the balm does. The slimmer barrel is thinner than the lip balm version, which makes it so much easier to apply. I really wish they'd release the lip balm in this sleek slim design too. I'm also really impressed with the ingredient list, so I'm definitely satisfied overall. My only regret is that I think I picked the wrong shade. The Julieta color is supposed to be a muted pink that works for both warm and cool undertones, so I ordered it without thinking twice. But since I have a light undertone, it actually pulls more coral on me than I expected. I thought it would be a calm, subdued pink, but that's not quite how it shows up. Just keep that in mind when choosing your shade! The amount of product is way too little. I know it's a slim design, but there's barely anything in there, which makes the price feel way too high for what you're getting. I really love that I can apply this freely even when I'm dealing with chapped lips I'm not sure if the flaking is really being controlled as well as I'd hoped. A gentle lipstick with soothing ingredients that I discovered while dealing with chapped lips. The color payoff is absolutely impressive. The price feels steep for the amount you get. It's much thinner than I expected. Also, the color saturation is a bit too high for my autumn-toned complexion. Great for wearing on bare lips without any base.
