The shade is perfect for cool undertones. Most lip balms don't show much color payoff, but this one delivers a vibrant, rich tint that really stands out. As you'd expect from a lip balm, the wear time isn't very long. When I apply it over flaky or dry patches, it tends to emphasize the texture a bit more than I'd like. I had to throw away all my tints because of my chapped lips, and now I'm just using lip balm. Regular lip balms look too uncomfortable for everyday wear, so I was searching for a gentle tinted lip balm. This product is amazing, and I really appreciate that the ingredients are trustworthy and effective. The color looked a bit different from what was shown on the product page, which was a little disappointing. Because of that, I ended up buying it in multiple shades, and honestly, I'm satisfied with them. I recently discovered that tinted lip products might be the culprit behind my swollen, flaky, and severely chapped lips when I'm tired. I've always used tinted lip products or lipstick only when going out, and regularly relied on this brand's lip balm for daily care. When I ran out of lip balm recently, I thought I'd skip repurchasing and just used tinted products for a few days. My lips became swollen and wouldn't calm down at all. Out of curiosity, I repurchased the lip balm and used it for about five days, and the swelling completely subsided. That's when I realized the tinted product was the problem. Anyway, since this product contains no artificial colorants, it's definitely a gentle formula. Stick-type lip balms come in two main varieties: nourishing and glossy formulas. For my perpetually dry lips, the glossy type worked so much better. Especially the Hera and Aura Venus products don't give my face a yellow cast and actually bring out a healthy glow. I highly recommend this shade for anyone with cool undertones. Since it doesn't stain and washes off easily, you need to reapply frequently, which means it runs out quickly, but there's really no substitute for it. In summer, you need to be careful because it might melt if left in a hot place. It's best to scoop out just a little bit at a time to prevent it from getting mushy. The color payoff is fantastic and the shade is absolutely perfect for cool undertones! It's glossier than the previous version, making it ideal for wearing in this season's weather. Sometimes the formula is too soft and breaks easily, which makes application uneven and patchy every time it happens. I really hope this gets improved!
