I found it wasn't quite strong enough as a second cleanse after makeup removal or oil-based products, so I ended up using it mainly for morning cleansing or weekend washes. Please don't discontinue this product! This is a two-in-one wonder product. In the morning, I use the light foam for a quick, refreshing cleanse that leaves my skin feeling dewy and hydrated. In the evening, I warm up some water to open my pores, apply the rich lather to my face, and gently massage for about a minute—this gives me a deep cleansing effect plus a gentle exfoliation that removes dead skin cells without being harsh. I really dislike that squeaky-clean feeling after washing my face, but this product doesn't leave that at all. It's not drying either. I'm genuinely happy with it. I used to use a foaming cleanser, but I switched to an herbal soap because of breakouts. It was too drying though, so I've been using green papaya for over a year now. I mainly apply sunscreen, and I do a two-step cleanse with the same brand's cleansing oil first, followed by the green papaya cleanser. It's so gentle, doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and parched, and I absolutely love it. The only downside is that the price feels a bit steep for the amount you get.
