I have combination skin, and I layer this product generously until it fully absorbs—I'm talking about 8 applications with each set! It's incredibly lightweight, never sticky, and leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and silky smooth. I absolutely love it! I stock up every time I visit Japan, and I even order it separately in Korea when I run out. This is definitely a holy grail product for me! I didn't really notice much of a difference. While it might not work as well for everyone like it didn't for me, I wouldn't say it's a bad product either. It's just not something that stood out to me. I use it in so many ways - sometimes I pour it into an empty bottle and spray it like a mist, and on days when my skin is acting up, I layer it multiple times or use it as a hydrating mask, and it never irritates my skin at all. The formula is quite watery, so if you just spray it on and leave it, it might drip down a bit. It delivers exactly the hydration I was looking for + the lightweight formula keeps skin from feeling oily + feels gentle on skin (even worked great during my worst breakout days!!) And most importantly, it doesn't interfere with serums or emulsions that I apply afterward!!! I'm absolutely loving it and plan to repurchase once I finish this bottle I use it more as a prep step before my toner to prevent tightness rather than as a toner itself, and it works wonderfully for makeup prep too. When my skin feels dry like it needs a mist, I'll layer it on again. I keep coming back to this hydrating mist because it's such a gem that I've bought it multiple times with my own money. I have dry skin and moisture is absolutely essential for me. I really dislike that slippery feeling when products just sit on top of my skin without absorbing, so I make sure to pat it in thoroughly. At first, the spray nozzle made it so easy to apply evenly across my face, but I noticed they removed it recently, which is disappointing. When I spray it evenly and gently pat it in with my hands, it absorbs incredibly fast. Since I have dry skin, I usually apply it twice in layers for extra hydration. I wish they'd bring back the spray nozzle and release a compact travel size. I saw the huge bottles at Don Quijote in Japan, but Korea doesn't have that large size available, which is really a shame. If you have dry skin like me, apply this right after you shower or wash your face. The texture is absolutely perfect for that step.
