I absolutely love the mugwort in this product. The scent is just like freshly steamed mugwort rice cake. The texture feels clean and lightweight without any stickiness, like a hydrating water toner. The generous bottle size means I can use it generously without worrying. My complexion looks noticeably brighter and clearer, which is different from vitamin C products in the best way. The value for money is fantastic, and the more you buy, the better the price gets! The dispenser doesn't have the cleanest pour design. Since this contains pure mugwort extract, first-time users might find it a bit irritating to the skin, though after about a month of use, your skin adapts and the irritation disappears quickly. The shelf life is quite short, with only 6 months after opening, and some retailers even specify an even shorter timeframe. If you prefer a cleaner application, I'd recommend transferring the toner to another container. While the shelf life is limited, if you use it generously morning and night without doing sheet masks, one bottle lasts about a month to a month and a half, so stocking up on two or three bottles is totally fine! 1. Effectively reduces the appearance of acne scars. Keeping this product at home and applying it regularly to red marks left after acne clears really makes a difference. You can use this as a substitute for similar treatments by doing a sheet mask before bed, and you'll notice the redness has calmed down by the next morning. I bought the set and also have centella asiatica in it, so doing a sheet mask with that seems to work even better. 2. Clean, gentle ingredients With just the active extract and preservatives, it works gently on your skin. Compared to products loaded with tons of ingredients, this causes zero irritation and I absolutely love it. 3. Great value I've been making my own basic skincare for quite a while now, and this is so much cheaper than buying ingredients separately, so I'll definitely be using it regularly. 1. There's an alcohol scent.... Unfortunately, that seems unavoidable. 1. Sheet masking I had so many sheet mask pads left over at home that I didn't know what to do with them, so I've been using this product for sheet masking. After masking, your skin feels incredibly hydrated and plump. Normally you need to layer toner, essence, and cream in order to avoid dryness, but after doing a sheet mask with this and going straight to cream, the glow is absolutely unreal. When you do a sheet mask with this product, since it's a liquid formula, it dries pretty quickly. If you're bothered by that, try mixing it with a glycerin product to make it last longer.
