When I have breakouts, I apply this before bed and while it doesn't disappear overnight, it clears up within a few days! On those really rough skin days, I apply it all over my face before my moisturizer and it works amazingly well! Maybe because it's a spot treatment, but the amount you get is really small. Other than that, no complaints. The formula is so gentle that even though it's a spot treatment, you can apply it generously without worry! The centella and tea tree ingredients aren't perfect for my skin, but when I get serious breakouts, I really need to use a spot treatment! When I applied it directly to the troubled areas, I noticed my acne faded noticeably, so I'm recommending it. Honestly, I'm impressed that they added plant-derived squalane to this spot treatment - it's made me see this product in a whole new light. The scent might be hit or miss for some people, and since the centella leaf extract and tea tree leaf extract are less potent than concentrated extracts, it's hard to put this on the same level as the spot treatments coming out these days. This acne treatment cream is seriously impressive. Apply it for just 2-3 days and your breakouts practically vanish. Small whiteheads and minor blemishes disappear completely with this alone. For deeper, inflamed acne, you'll need to extract first, but then this works wonders. The texture isn't heavy on oily skin at all—it's a lightweight moisturizer that delivers exactly the right amount of hydration. If you have dry skin, you might need something extra, but as someone with very oily skin, this is absolutely perfect for me. Why aren't more people with acne using this? Seriously, just apply it and watch your skin calm down within 2-3 days. The soothing effect is incredible. This is genuinely my holy grail product. I use it as the final step in my skincare routine all over my face, then add an extra layer as a spot treatment on problem areas. The calming effect is instant. Update after one year: This is still my absolute favorite. It works so well with my skin. My breakouts have basically stopped. I only get the occasional inflamed pimple during my period, and I haven't had those tiny whiteheads in ages. When my skin feels a bit dry, I mix in carrot oil, but since I have oily skin, I don't really need it. I've completely replaced my regular moisturizer with this. I used the Innisfree True essence product and my skin completely flared up, so I got a steroid emulsion and allergy medication prescribed from my dermatologist. It got better, but then a few weeks later I woke up with my skin acting up again. I got acne medication prescribed, but it didn't work, so I bought this product online out of curiosity and concern. At that time, my skin type was: prone to pustules, congestion, scarring, sensitive, oily, and acne-prone. When I apply it to small acne spots, they disappear by the next morning. For slightly larger breakouts, they fade away after applying it for 3-4 days. My friends recommended it and mentioned that it helps with scars and discoloration. After about a month of consistent use, all those bumpy, uneven areas from acne have smoothed out, and my cheeks feel incredibly smooth to the touch. That said, using it consistently doesn't mean you'll never get breakouts again. I really like that it comes in a tube with a narrow opening, so you can control the amount you dispense perfectly. It's lightweight and has a herbal, medicinal scent that reminds me of traditional remedies, but it's not overpowering. It's supposed to work on scars, but honestly I didn't see much improvement there. Still, I'm satisfied just seeing my acne disappear.
