I was really excited about this because I love woody scents, but it turned out to be more of a gentle introduction to sandalwood rather than a full-on woody fragrance. That said, I think it's still a solid choice for someone getting into wood notes. I'm not really sure what to think. I guess it's decent enough for students on a budget who just want something affordable to spray on? I bought this because YouTubers kept raving about how great the scent is, saying it's similar to some fancy designer fragrance, and claiming you get impressive product quality at this price point. The creators I usually follow had such positive things to say that I got curious and impulsively grabbed it at the low price without thinking twice. From the very first spray, it screams cheap. This tacky floral scent hits you right away. Then there's something they call woody, but honestly it just fades into the background while the alcohol and heavy floral notes completely take over. There's no need to break down top notes, heart notes, and base notes here because it's just pure floral the whole way through. It literally smells like the cheap perfume that comes in those toy makeup sets for kids. Sure, some people might love this kind of scent, but for a store like Daiso that's all about value for money, this fragrance definitely doesn't deliver on that promise. And here's the thing that really gets me: the name has "woody" in it, but there's barely any woody character at all. I guess that's why they had to slap "muted" in front of it. Even if there was a tiny bit of woody note, I still wouldn't like this fragrance. This is just my personal opinion, but when I asked my mom about it, she couldn't believe I wasted money on this cheap perfume and asked why I threw my cash away like that. Look, if you still want to buy it, I won't stop you, but I regretted it the moment I opened it. I'm going to resell it on the secondhand market for about two dollars.

The character is totally different. This one has a sweeter profile with a subtle, soft shampoo-like fragrance rather than a bold woody scent. In contrast, Tam Dao really commits to that sandalwood and woody identity. If you're looking for a gentler take on sandalwood and woody fragrances without the heaviness, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try. The scent gives me a headache if I wear it for too long. I'm usually a fragrance enthusiast and rarely experience headaches from perfumes, but this one actually makes my head hurt and leaves me feeling a bit queasy.
